Perfect Door County Getaway

This was the perfect location and home for our first Door County visit! My husband and I went up with my parents and the house was picturesque, clean, cozy so close to the water, and excellent for two couples. We loved the screened in porch for our morning coffee and the fire pit in the back at night for cocktails dessert. Communication was so simple and Carol was very responsive to questions. Staying in Ephraim was the best decision. It was so easy to travel to neighboring areas and attractions and we loved that we could walk to nearby places like Anderson Dock and restaurants/drink spots. We fell in love and hope to return! Thanks for everything!

Pre 4th Stay

Everything was great - we especially loved the porch and the location. Everything is updated and so nicely furnished. The only small issue was ants in the kitchen but we made sure we kept everything picked up and cleaned up. We would definitely like to stay again sometime.

There were insects all over the house and we were not told that the house had a broken air conditioning unit before we checked in. The weather was very humid because of all of the rain. On the second to last day of our stay, the repair men came to replace the air conditioning unit, so the last day that we were there, we were able to sleep without the windows open.

The property is lovely...easy parking, beautiful front yard, screened front porch with water view, comfortable living spaces, bright kitchen with adjacent back patio. We loved our location and easily accessed 3 state parks during our stay. We will definitely return.

70th Birthday Getaway

The two of us spent a lovely 3 days here. The property is exactly as advertised. Maybe better! I was initially concerned about traffic but it was very quiet and we slept well on terrific mattresses. The weather was great so we took in the sights of Door County. Ephraim was the center of everything we wanted to see and do. So convenient. We would love to come back in the Winter and experience the rental and area in a different season.

Sweet retreat

It was a great cottage. We loved the screened porch, spacious yard, darling home. Perfect for a family of 4 (or 2 couples looking for a getaway) The kitchen was well equipped, and the house was clean.

Very nice property perfect for 2 couples.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was very nice but a bit on the pricey side (for us). Master suite is beautiful and the common areas, especially the front porch, we’re great. Extra bonus was the shuffleboard court which we used a lot.

Love the porch!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is small but well kept and that worked great for just the two of us. It looks just like the pictures and the front screened in porch is a great feature. The furniture out there is nice and comfortable. We were able to enjoy mornings and evenings sitting out there rain or shine. The location is great and an easy walk to restaurants in Ephraim. We will be back.

Excellent location and very comfortable

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO in Ephraim. Walking distance to town for dinner or breakfast. In middle of the main towns of Door County where we drove north and south to explore. Great trip and really comfortable, clean and nice place.

Lovely

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cottage. It’s in a great spot. There were beautiful sunsets sitting in the screened in porch, sitting by the gas fire table once it got a bit cooler, and a fairly well equipped kitchen to self cater. The bed in the master was so comfortable, which is not something I typically find so very well appreciated. I was also pleasantly surprised to see there’s a whole house generator if the power were to go out (it didn’t … we had great weather). I only noticed it because we are putting one in our house. What an awesome thing to have if there were an outage. All in all, this is a lovely place to stay.

Delightful in every way

We really splurged on a four-night stay here, figuring that since we wouldn't be doing the things we would have done in pre-covid times, we'd treat ourselves to a lovely place to stay. And lovely it was! Marvelous large screen porch looking out over the Bay; cozy feeling inside, including a gas fireplace to warm things up; and a kitchen that's small but very well appointed. Best of all, we scheduled our visit off-season, so we encountered no crowds or serious traffic. If it weren't for the splurge factor, we'd definitely return - and we may anyway. :)

This was a perfect choice for our stay in Door County! Not even one suggestion for improvement. This property will NOT disappoint.

This property was even better than described and pictured! This is my third booking with Evolve and none of the properties has ever disappointed. It was immaculate, secure, very nicely updated and decorated. The beds and furniture were all comfortable, plenty of parking, etc. We loved the gas fireplace and the heated floors! Florida girls are not used to such temps! We drove all over the peninsula during our stay and all agreed that there was no better place to have a home base than Ephraim. Even though we arrived just before the "season" began, we found delightful, unique and tasty places to eat each day. I don't know if the description mentions this, but it was right across the road from the Bay. Beautiful sunsets!

Wonderful and Super Cozy

This property met and exceeded all of our expectations. What a perfect spot in Door County. The home was clean and equipped with all we needed. The beds were really comfy and the bathrooms in each bedroom was perfect for two couples. Fireplace and heated floors were super nice in the winter. Don't hesitate booking this home for a relaxing stay.
