The perfect beach getaway!

The laundry facilities onsite made it great to do three loads at once and saved us a ton of time. The pool was a nice, quiet place to enjoy reading a book or taking a dip in the pool. The condo had beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach toys for us to use. The kitchen has everything you need for the week if you chose to cook there. We had an amazing time, the location is great.

Considering the roomy layout, the fully equipped kitchen, and the 30 second walk to the beach - it is a GREAT deal! The unit was very clean when we arrived. It is very roomy and could house a family with several kids comfortably. We loved the loft area, although the steps up to it can be a little daunting. The 2 full bathrooms are adequate. What I love best about this unit is that it literally takes less than a minute to walk to the beach, even though it's not right ON the beach. We love having lots of space and being so close to the beach. I also really appreciate having a fully equipped kitchen, even though we didn't really cook. We used the kitchen to warm up leftovers, and store our take-out. If you want to cook though, there are plenty of pots/pans. You'd just to bring foil, spices, and whatever food to cook. There is a Tom Thumb right next door where we got coffee and snacks. Would definitely stay here again!

First time in the area. Plenty of room for our family if 5. Easy access to the beach. Had a few questions and the communication was prompt and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Fort Walton Beach!

Love this property!

I have been to this property several times. It’s great location and easy access to the beach. Although it doesn’t sit on the sand it’s literally 20 feet! The only negative I have for this particular unit is the grumpy old neighbor. My kids are well behaved and mannerly. However they are kids. The old guy in the next door unit would only come out when the kids were walking by to boss them, not when the adults were out. Then he would call and complain for literally nothing. Although he is extremely annoying we ignored him and did as we wanted and had a great time! I have already rented this unit again. I’m sure ole grumpy will be glad to see us again! Lol

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This experience was wonderful! Showed up to a unit that was just as nice as in the photos. The unit was very clean! The upstairs loft was a hit with our two children and our king sized bed was comfy and easy to get a good night's rest. The balcony is set right in line with the walkway to the beach, so we had a great view. It's about a hundred yard walk to the water, maybe sixty yards to the sand. We will try and stay in this unit for every future beach trip. We love Okaloosa Island! Thank you to all of the staff with Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals who made this such a wonderful Spring Break.

The door to the closet in Mbr was so hard to open that we thought it was locked. Turn counter clock wise hard and it will open. Hot and cold water tub faucets in loft bathroom are reversed. Noise is shared between loft, lr, and kitchen and DR. DR table is sml. Tub drain in loft is slow. Overall livable.

Reviewer Comments: I had a reservation sugar sands cancel because they said I didn’t respond to a email they had to move me to a different condo which was a upstair unit that I did not want then went to the beach for chair rental which wasn’t under our room like the other one was free but they did make it good and refunded the costs the only bad thing I could say was the unit had nothing to cook with no skillet no bowls need to add some cooking ware to this unit
