The property was neat and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped for a large group, the beds were comfortable and cozy, and the check in was effortless. well really enjoyed our stay in this quiet location.
Stayed with some friends and family for a get away to explore Stanthorpe and the surrounding areas. The cottage has all your basic needs met and is clean and spacious. The location with it's peace and quiet and local wildlife really make the cottage an ideal place to stay in Stanthorpe to accommodate a large group of 8 people.
Randall & Jo could not have been more helpful. This is acute large house very comfy bed well equipped kitchen. Although it doesn't have a fireplace it has a gas heater which when you close of the living & kitchen area is cozy warm (Too hot if you leave both bars on). Telsra TV for netflix, DVD and everything to make it feel like home. Close to good wineries. We will be back to stay agin.
Perfect place for a group to spend a weekend together! Good spot for campfire nights!! Lovely property and good house. It had everything we needed for our stay.
A nice large home that gave the kids plenty of space to explore. Had everything we needed. The heater was very efficient when i worked out how much better they run when plugged in. Thanks for the nice easy stay.

Great location, very cosy.
We had a lovely time at Kintyre Cottage and would be happy to stay there again. A quaint home on a lovely property. We loved watching the kangaroos and enjoying the winter sunshine. The house was very clean and tidy. The gas heater and electric blankets made for a cosy and comfortable stay. Location is great, a nice sense of space and being in the country while very close to the convenience of town. Very pleasant and easy communication with the owners.

Magical Experience
beautiful position, very cosy and private. On the last day of our trip we woke up to find the entire property coverered in snow! A great experience, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a very affordable getaway. Only real downside is the lack of a fireplace inside the house, which the gas heater compensated adequately for anyways.

Good property
We enjoyed the stay. Missing power point in bathroom and facility to wash car.
Everithing else was quite good. Liked sunny position for winter, warming kitchen and family room with little use of heater.

This cottage is excellent value for money. We found the house to be impeccably clean. It was spotles
This cottage is excellent value for money. We found the house to be impeccably clean. It was spotless! Not a bit of dust or dirt anywhere. It is very baby and toddler friendly - we visited with an 11 mth and 26 mth old. During our stay we felt very safe, secure and "at home" in this cottage. It is a very spacious house with all that you need for a break away provided. Location is great - close to all the attractions of the Stanthorpe region. Thank you Jo and Randall for providing such a pleasant place to stay.
About the host
Hosted by Randall Cook
We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenage boys). We live on the Gold Coast but this farm is the remnants of Randalls parents property which we purchased after they retired from active farming.
Why they chose this property
It is a beautiful peaceful location, but only a 5 minute drive into town. There is abundant wildlife around and plenty of space. There is an operating orchard across the road which is stunning in spring when the trees are all in flower.
