It was a wonderful property and the hosts was great to work with. The views on the comfortable deck were amazing! And great access to Rocky Mountain National Park!
3rd time in Estes, but this cabin was by far the best!
Communications were great! Location was perfect.
The views are breathtaking!! Willing to bet there is not another rental with views this amazing.
4 different decks/patios and each one of them have their own perks! They didn’t skip on a single detail.
Everything you could ever need is available and it’s very homey. You could tell this place is as special to them as they hope it will be for you!
Only thing I would change is adding a gate that can enclose the smaller master patio (for the dogs that must be leashed or new pups so they don’t wander off or wild animals don’t wander up to them. So bring a portable gate if this applies to you :)
Cannot wait to come back!
We rented this cabin for a bachelorette party weekend and it was more than perfect! The view was absolutely stunning and the best background for all of the pictures. We really enjoyed the hot tub and all the seating on the deck. There were two beautiful hummingbirds that hung out on the deck the majority of our stay! Would absolutely recommend!
We did notice a drone that was watching us while we were in the hot tub the first night. We just went back inside. I sent a message letting them know and they thought they had seen one as well and said they were going to look into getting that taken care of! Very responsive and helpful!
Highly recommended. Quick access to RMNP and amazing views from the deck.
We had a great 6-night stay here in August. Communication with the owner was outstanding before and during our stay.
We hiked in the NP every day, arriving at the trailheads well before dawn (to beat the crowds) and returning in the early afternoon to enjoy the views from the comfortable deck with stunning views. We cooked dinner most nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen.
Location: Less than 10 minute drive from Beaver Meadows entrance. It was great to not have to drive through Estes Park to get home after our long hikes in the Bear Lake area. Downtown Estes Park is easily accessible. Just be prepared for traffic.
Sleeping: As clearly described, the 2nd bedroom is not connected to the house. We couldn’t figure out how to make this work with our 5-year-old and 8-year-old kids, so we all slept in the main bedroom.
Tip: The house gets warm on sunny days in August, especially in the upstairs bedroom. Keep the blinds closed during the day and open the windows after sunset, and it’s fine. You might request the owner have all the blinds closed prior to your arrival.
We enjoyed our stay at Robin’s cabin. What was so special to us was the unique history of the cabin, built back in the 1940s. The location is perfect. We were far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown Estes but close enough to get to shops, restaurants, and the park entrance easily. Our kids were old enough to enjoy the detached downstairs bedroom and thought having their own “apartment” for the week was fun!
The views from the deck could not be beaten. We got to sit with the Rocky Mountains right in the backyard, and got multiple glimpses of wildlife. The cabin is cozy and quaint, with comfortable beds, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The weather was warmer than expected for June in Colorado, but there was a centrally located window unit, and we were able to keep the windows open at night to catch the cool mountain breeze. Thanks again for hosting us.
Loved our stay and did not want to leave! The mountain view was absolutely incredible. We loved the deck and enjoyed every meal outside. It was fun watching the deer and elk around the cabin as well as the many birds that visited. The cabin was well equipped and very comfortable. Also appreciated how close is was located to RMNP park entrance and downtown Estes Park. Thank you for opening your family cabin and giving these Texans an amazing place to relax and unwind after hiking each day in the Rocky Mountains!
This was an awesome little cabin on the side of a mountain with great views of Rocky Mountain National Park. The hot tub with Mountain View was awesome. Elk even came on the property for a very up close encounter. Fantastic place and we would definitely stay here again.
Property was excellent..Clean and ready to go. Easy to find everything. Hot tub and other items were very easy to use. Great views. Everything worked well.
The cabin was very clean! The views from the very LARGE outside deck were amazing of the RMNP! It was close enough to town but yet you had space/privacy from neighbors. Would definitely stay here again!
Located <5 minutes from the RMNP visitor's entrance and local shops (including the always essential coffee shops), this rental boasts beautiful views, a constant stream of hummingbirds, a warm hottub, and comfy beds. All of us had an amazing time on our vacation and would recommend this rental to all!
The photos don't do this one justice. Awesome views of the mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Enjoyed sitting on the decks and in the hot tub admiring the beauty. Home was larger than expected!
A great experience had by all. We really enjoyed our stay. Highlight is definitely the back deck and amazing views of the mountains! Cabin has everything needed with comfortable beds in a very good location. Look forward to a longer stay next time!
This cabin and property are even better then the pictures. It is so homey and beautiful. The deck is unbelievable with tons of seating. The hot tub was amazing. We loved all the wild life and being in a private area. It is also very pet friendly. We would highly recommend this cabin and would love to visit again. Thank you!
This cabin is so perfect great views cozy, close to town just a wonderful place to sit and relax and enjoy family time. Wild life all around and hummingbirds coming to visit. The best place to get away from the city!

Why they chose this property
This property was built by my Grandfather in the 1940's and has passed to my mother and we have primarily used this as a family cabin exclusively. We decided to open the cabin up to the public due to my mothers ill health and limited use.
What makes this property unique
Very Private location with amazing views off the large deck facing the National Park. We have done significant improvements to the property over the last 15 years to make it more and more relaxing and enjoyable. We are very close to the National park entrance (2 Miles) and to downtown Estes Park (2 Miles) We have a hot tub that looks out toward the National Park located on the deck to the right of the large deck. We offer Free Wifi, and Cable.
