Within walking distance local restaurants and shopping. Although the property does not have a dock the local marina a short distance from the property. This property offers very relaxing and quiet getaway with beautiful views of Schroon Lake and mountains across the from the lake.

Schroon Lake Stay

My wife and I looking to spend some time in Schroon Lake area and stayed at this location for 2 nights. I found it to be a perfect, comfortable, clean and reasonable accommodation. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, great location. Access to the beach is interesting a there's a path that bypasses the neighbors house closet to the water edge - but once there - the beach front is great with chairs and a great view. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Convenient and well provisioned

We appreciated all of the provisions in the house and its easy, convenient location for activities in the area. The neighbors were either away or quiet, which was also a plus.

Beach was a lovely spot to sit and relax at night. Air conditioners kept temperature of house cool in the hot weather, and beds were comfortable.

Very nice escape!

Though finding the property was a bit of a challenge as the road looks like a driveway and the street sign is completely blocked, we were so happy with the cute, tucked away cottage. The place was clean and inviting and we were easily able to walk the mile to town for dinner and drinks. So happy we stayed.

Nice stay at the Lake

Very nice stay at Schroon Lake. Check in/out was easy. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to questions. Lovely spot at the lake shore. House was well appointed. Great spot to stay if want to get to High Peaks region quickly.

Lakeside bliss at The Hidden Treasure…

Easy booking and communication! The unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is part of a 4 unit building, but the other 3 units are being remodeled and were empty- so we had the property to ourselves- which was perfect! You are very close to neighbors, but we traveled late August and the neighbors did not seem to be visiting when we were. Nice rustic feel to the apartment. We enjoyed the enclosed/screened side porch. Given the proximity of neighbors- perhaps an optional curtain on the french doors to allow for night time privacy would be nice- but we had no problem as is overall! Bedding and sofa very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and even came with a few hostess gift treats. The little beach area is nice for evening, but we prefer the public beach for swimming as this side of the lake is mushy bottomed and very shallow. Perfect for kayak launch, though! We’ll be back for sure!!!

A hidden treasure for sure

We had the best long weekend. Cute, clean place. So close to town, loved having our own piece of beach and the lake. Host was so helpful and friendly (so were the neighbors). Will definitely be staying again!

Great Weekend!

Stayed here for the ADK Marathon Festival and had a great time in this well-equipped, clean place. Very conveniently located, walking distance to town and the beach. We all enjoyed spending the evening on the beach with a fire and got to see the festival's fireworks with a front-row view. Would be happy to stay here again!

Excellent schroon lake village property

This property has been Recently renovated and was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including keurig, with pods. 50 foot walk to the private beach and 1/2 mile walk to town. The beach front is sandy and shallow. The village has a couple restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream.

Rejuvenating and Relaxing

I actually hate writing a good review for this place because I would love to keep it a secret. The house was perfect for me and two friends. The lake is an easy walk down a grassy path to the beach. The beach set up was perfect and the owners left wood for us for the first night’s fire. We probably could have gotten two nights out of it but the atmosphere was so lovely we didn’t want to go in. We kayaked from the beach both days we were there and it is a one minute drive to stores in town.

Hidden Treasure

It was perfect for what we wanted: a rental with a kitchen for cooking and more room to spread out than a hotel. This had the huge bonus of having access to a small stretch of beach where we had bonfires and launched our kayaks. Would definitely stay here again.

Lake Regions Get-Away!

We had a wonderful time on Schroon Lake, and at this location! The accommodations were cozy and clean. The area was quiet, even though there were many people staying around us. Evenings down by the lake, with the fire pit and tiki torches, put the cherry on each day of motorcycle touring's cake! We all highly recommend this location! I am sure it is BEAUTIFUL in the fall.

Memorable Memorial Day Getaway

Lovely property just steps to private beach on Schroon Lake! The cottage is very clean, very cozy and close to the center of Schroon Lake. We loved the enclosed porch that looks out to the lake, too. Wonderful hosts!

Cozy apartment steps from beautiful Schroon Lake.

This two bedroom apartment was just as shown. The location was so nice as well. It was a very quiet neighborhood. Lake views from the sunroom, dining room, and front bedroom. Simply follow the path to the lake. The lake is clean with an amazing view. Parking was simple and next to the front door. The town is such a cozy, friendly community with plenty of shops and restaurants. You can also enjoy the beautiful lake while in town. I hope to stay here again soon.
