About this property

Enjoy all that Cape Cod and Falmouth has to offer. Our cottage is a 5-minute walk to Bristol Beach, which overlooks Vineyard Sound and Martha's Vineyard, and just a bit further to the world-famous Falmouth Heights beach. Take a dip in the bay at the end of the street (Great Bay), launch your kayak, take a jog along the scenic walking path overlooking the bay, or just watch the sun rise from the back deck over your morning cup of coffee.

We are just 3 miles to beautiful downtown Falmouth, with amazing shopping and restaurants. Bristol Beach is .3 miles from the cottage, an easy 5 minute walk. A little further (.5 mile) walk to the world famous Falmouth Heights Beach, the start of the Falmouth Road Race, and the July 4th fireworks! Another .5 miles to board the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard.

The house is equipped with an outdoor shower, full kitchen, washer & dryer, window AC, clean towels and linens, a big-screen TV with Roku, a bookcase full of classic novels and novellas, a fully furnished deck out back, and much more. Perfect for couples and families alike.

Excellent location and perfect for a small family

Gordon's place was perfect for our family of three. The location is excellent--Great Pond is at the end of the road and Bristol Beach is a short walk away. Everything else you need requires only a short drive. Some nice amenities include a nice deck on the back of the house, washer/dryer, and a fully stocked kitchen. We hope to stay there again!

Great location - our second stay

New fridge, new gas grille, and an additional window AC this year are great additions. Thanks Linda! This was our second year. Awesome weather and very relaxing stay. This cottage has everything you need. The beach umbrella was better than ours so that was a nice surprise. The only negative was the cleanliness. The house was noticeably dirtier than last summer. My wife was disappointed to find dirty dishes and flatware in cabinets so we washed everything before using. Bed sheets were clean but comforters, bath rugs, etc should also be washed at least every few weeks because they get musty and dirty with renter traffic. Good cleaners are very hard to find. We are also owners of a summer rental property so we are probably focused on these things more than some people. Overall we had a great time. This is a great little cottage in a good location if you like to be walking distance to the beach and town.

Not as expected

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. I contacted vrbo and spoke to someone who recommended we take and send pictures, which we did. I contacted the owner about the shoestring used as a handle for the toilet and it was repaired immediately. The microwave was filthy and greasy on the outside-- owner said it is to be replaced--still thought it should have been clean. There was mold and mildew in the shower and on the bathroom window. Front porch was in bad shape and we didn't feel using the grill was something we wanted to do. The reviews on the property were very good, which was puzzling to us, we don't feel we are that picky, but it honestly was one of the worst properties we have rented. We appreciated that the owner was easy to reach and that she did address our concerns regarding the toilet immediately. The cottage has some real potential-- it is a short walk to the beach and close to shopping. We liked that we had Wi-Fi and use of a washer/dryer. I hope that the owner can correct the issues we experienced.

Beach and Bay is the best!

Great property in a great location. Its about a five minute drive to Main St. and a five minute walked to an amazing beach. The house is definitely tiny but perfect for a small family! They have a cute recommendation book that is so helpful for finding restaurants and things to do. I would definitely recommend this property!

First Time in Cape Cod

Our stay in Linda's cottage was very nice! The cottage is a mirror image of what is advertised on the website. Despite the cool, rainy weather, we made the best of our time there. The cottage is very close to the beach and a convenient 10-15 minute drive to take the Island Queen Ferry out of Falmouth over to Martha's Vineyard. The downtown of Falmouth is very nice with cute shops and eateries. We also explored in Barnstable and Wellfleet. Our stay was short but sweet; I'd definitely visit the area again!

Small cottage in a great location. Very clean and well supplied for two adults.

This was a great rental for many reasons. The owner is very helpful, provided area information, a welcome gift and offered the cottage earlier than expected. Responds to any inquiry in a flash. Two beaches are close by. Great area to walk to and from the cottage, just a mile from the Falmouth road race finish line. Great restaurants within 5 minutes and stores close if anything is needed.

Cute clean well located beach cottage

We loved it! Cute, clean, short walk to beach. Perfect for vacation - love the little back patio, so nice to use the beach chairs and umbrella. Already looking forward to returning. My husband, three and a half year old son and I were very comfortable here.

Well maintained and Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay in this sweet house in a great location on the Cape. Lots of things to do in Falmouth and a nice location for visits to other parts of the Cape with good suggestions from the owners. Well maintained home and a good size for a small family- easy rental and communicative owners.

Great small cottage next to the beach

Very nice little cottage with walking distance to the beach . The only thing I would change is to put AC window units in the bedrooms .. one unit in the living room is not enough in my opinion

Great little beach house

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute little Cape Cod style house in Teaticket. It had everything we needed for our family of four - great bunk beds for the kids, a comfortable mattress for us, comfy living room, and kitchen with essentials. I loved having a washer and dryer all week so we could go home with clean clothes. Linda and Rob are gracious hosts who leave a nice welcome gift, and are very attentive and quick to answer questions. We loved the little patio and ate our dinners there. It was nice walk to the beach, quick drive to Main Street, and overall a great little place. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great first time stay in Cape Cod!

I’m almost 7 months pregnant so I wanted a small family getaway before life got a little bit crazier. This house was a perfect size ( 2 adults and a 1year old), in the perfect location (shops 1 way, beach the other), and had a great host. Linda was accommodating, responsive to any issue, and full of sweet and generous surprises. I highly recommend this home. Nina

Wonderful cottage with great location!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and were so glad we chose this property. Not only was the owner a delight to work with, but the cottage is absolutely everything you could imagine and more. You had such a “Cape Cod” feel with the beautiful decorations and you cannot beat the location, close to so much, but still very quiet and relaxing. We will definitely return on our next trip to the Cape. There was even a goodie bag for us upon arrival. Thank you Linda for all you did to make our visit absolutely perfect.

Wonderful location close the the beach!

We had a great time visiting the Cape in October - the weather was spectacular! The house was perfect for us, close to everything we needed or wanted. It is cozy, quaint and comfortable and Linda was the perfect hostess and so easy to work with! I would highly recommend it to all!

Great home away from home!

We spent a long weekend here for a family wedding and found this small home to be very clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for getting to the beach, walking the path by the pond, and getting onto Rte28. The owners have thought of everything you might need and equipped the house with lovely towels, linens and kitchenware. We didn't do any cooking while there but there was a grill and a gas stove. A lovely welcome bag of Cape Cod gifts was there when we arrived...so very thoughtful. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought into the décor as well. The little patio area behind the house was a nice, private spot to sit and relax. We thought it was perfect for our stay.

Small quaint house in Falmouth

this property is conveniently located near the beach, great pond, and shopping/dining. It was clean and nicely decorated. Just enough for my husband and I who were in town for a wedding. The bathroom was a little tight but we would return if we were to get back up in the Cape Cod area.

Exactly what we needed!

This quaint little cape was exactly what we were looking for for myself, my mom, sister and her 2 young kids. Many wonderful memories were made during our week! The house is equipped with everything you might need for an extended stay. I've rented many houses in the past and the homeowner was by far the easiest to work with. Plus the lovely welcome gift was so sweet and thoughtful! I would definitely recommend renting this house for a small close family or group. Thanks for everything!

Cozy Cape Cod/Falmouth home!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Falmouth rental. Though small, it met all of our needs. We were met with a very thoughtful welcome bag of goodies!! It was very clean, with a Great shower, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Good closet space and comfortable beds. The outdoor space was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside with a drink in the evening. The kitchen and fridge could use some updating however it was a very minor incovenience. Lots of glasses, dishes, silverware, Tupperware, food storage bags, etc. The neighborhood was great- quiet and family friendly and a great location. Walking/biking distance to two beaches. We loved riding our bikes to the beach and around the neighborhoods! A beach umbrella and some beach chairs were also available to use which was very nice! Linda was very responsive to all of our questions - we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for the great accommodations!!

Wonderful home

The home has all the amenities and was great for our needs. Very short walk to the beach and even closer to the ponds. House was very clean and was clearly recently updated. Linda was great to rent from.

I am a fun-loving and active guy who grew up visiting family in Falmouth. I always wanted to own here. I chose this house for the gorgeous views, the proximity to the beach, bay, and town, and the running path at the end of the street.

I love sharing my cottage with couples and families and hearing the awesome stories of their stays here. The dining is amazing, the fishing is world-class, and the beaches are some of the most picturesque around.
