Gables at Long Beach

Some important points:
1. The main source of heating is the wood fire (There is also a gas heater)
2. The is ample firewood but you will have to be able to use a splitter.
3. We do not have air conditioning.
4. We do not charge a cleaning fee.
5. Prices are for 2 adults.

Note for Christmas 2026 - When booking, checkouts cannot not occur on 24 to 26 December and 31 December to 1 January 27 due to difficulties with cleaners.

RELAXING ! - your holiday starts the minute you walk into this comfortable, modern home. Whether you use it as a base for activities, or 'stay home' and sleep, unwind, read, relax on the front deck, in the garden overlooking the bush or in front of the fire, you and your family will leave rejuvenated.

The house has ample indoor and outdoor living space for families - large rooms when you want to be together, three separate indoor living spaces and three separate outdoor living spaces when you want your own space.

There is a well-equipped kitchen with gas cook top, dishwasher, lovely meals area overlooking the yard (with 1 metre high fences) and bushland, large lounge-dining room, with a TV, DVD player, stereo. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. Good sized bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: King bed with ensuite
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two singles

A porta-cot, high chair and booster seat for littlies are also provided when requested. Electric blankets are on all beds.

BYO bed linen, towels, beach towels. A local company hires all linen including towels if requested.

There is a large modern ensuite to the main bedroom. The main bathroom has a full-sized bath. Downstairs has the laundry and third toilet.

Doors and windows have crimsafe-type security screens, so they can be left open day and night for fresh air flow.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans. A slow combustion wood fire keeps the house warm in colder months. There is firewood but you will need to use the splitter.

There are boogie boards, a DVD library, books and games for old fashioned family fun and bonding.

Location

FABULOUS - the best of both worlds - Maloneys Beach is a short walk down the hill with its new footpath while Long Beach is a longer walk or a few minutes drive. Both are nice quiet beaches away from the bustle.

Batemans Bay shops, restaurants and clubs are only a 10-15 minute drive.

Eurobodalla has a lot to offer - many great dog friendly / family friendly beaches; bush walking in nearby National Parks; fishing, scuba & kayaking; cinema & art cinema; museums & galleries; great clubs.

Delightful Milton and Mollymook are around 30 mins to the north, and Mogo and Moruya about 30 mins south - all worth a visit. Fabulous Mogo Zoo is only 20 mins drive. For the fit, Pigeon House Mtn is about an hour north, and Mt Dromedary is south near Tilba which is worth a day trip in its own right.
