Welcome to our beautifully furnished, colonial-style townhome just minutes from MARC station with great proximity to DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, Historic Ellicott City--truly central to unlimited historical sites, restaurants, shopping and more!
Should we enjoy a movie, relax on a hammock in the screened-in outdoor space or go sightseeing? That’s the question! Located just 15 mins from BWI and within 5 mins from highway, MARC (w/ trains leaving regularly to DC & Balt), Ft. Meade and walking trails.
The Space:
The front door opens into a light-soaked living area with high ceilings and bay windows. Living room has plenty of seating and, if you are unable to leave work behind, a carefully restored antique desk provides a great work space.
Spacious kitchen/dining area has room for 10 at a table a large, granite island. Kitchen door opens into a furnished, screened-in outdoor space with a hammock chair and nostalgic, string lighting--the area is a perfect place for catching up on emails or visiting with loved ones. The first level of the home also has a half bath and a laundry room (stocked with detergent). If you need a microwave, there is one on top of the dryer (across from the pantry).
There are no TVs in the bedrooms, but you can head downstairs to unwind in front of a beautifully framed 70” HD TV with 5.1 surround sound (fireplace is for decorative purposes only). There is room for everyone on the large and very comfortable sectional, and the upholstered, storage ottoman provides much-needed rest for tired feet after a day of sightseeing (open it up for additional cozy blankets).
The upper floor has three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms and two full baths. The primary suite features vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, a comfortable king-sized bed (with down comforter and pillows) and a bathroom with a marble-topped, double-sink vanity, a large soaking tub, a newly tiled shower and soft bath towels. An additional room in basement will only be prepared and made available for bookings with 8-9 guests including kids (more info below).
The colonial-style townhome is located on a quite cul de sac only minutes from a MARC station (Uber and Lift are readily accessible, if needed). There is a large side yard with a swing and more-than-enough parking (in driveway/on street). Neighborhood playground is walking distance and incredible walking trails are just a short drive away.
Home sleeps 6, but it can sleep 3 more if they are included on the booking. If 8 or 9 guests are included on the booking (including kids), an additional room in the basement (with 2 twin beds) will be prepared/made available. If you have less guests, but prefer the extra space—please reach out and we can make it available for an additional fee. The room doesn’t have a window (though there is one nearby in main basement area). Keep in mind that nearest half bath is on the main floor (up a set of stairs) and both full baths are another floor up. For your convenience, there is a playpen and infant carseat (in the closet of the third bedroom) and a booster seat with tray (in the pantry across from washer/dryer)—please be aware that we do not examine them regularly for defects, recalls, etc. Also, the outdoor hammock chair has a weight limit and can be dangerous for young children—please watch children carefully.

The MARC station is about 5 minutes away with trains leaving regularly for DC and Baltimore. If you have a car, there is usually ample parking at the station--if not, it is a very quick/cheap Uber/Lift ride or even walking distance if you don't mind some exercise.
