Breathtaking views
Cloud 9 was an amazing holiday stay. Close enough to walk to the Three Sisters, Echo Point and Katoomba town centre, yet felt completely separate from the hustle and bustle of these busy tourist spots. The views were unbeatable and the accommodation is spacious and comfortable. A very relaxing holiday destination.

This was a little piece of paradise. Incredible views and extremely comfortable. It is a great location for hikes and day trips in the Blue Mountains. Despite a couple of days of much needed rain it was a wonderful place to stay and visit. Cloud 9 is the perfect name.

Wonderful Views!
Had a very relaxing stay with family enjoying the wonderful views! Accommodation was very warm and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, clean and tidy. Great location, close to Three Sisters, Scenic World, and nice restaurants and cafes. The daily afternoon visits from the cockatoos was our highlight of the day as they sat on the balcony to chat. Highly recommend, will be visiting again!

Clean simple accommodation with great view
We had five of us stay there. One on the sofa bed, but it was comfortable. View was great and we had a nice dinner on the balcony. Small barbecue for five people, but we made it work easy enough. Kitchen was fit out well enough. The unit was well kept and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Cloud 9 is absolutely amazing! The location and views area not only stunning but super convenient. Really clean and well heated, huge TV and kitchen. We loved the little personal touches, robes, breakkie, condiment stocked pantry. Way, Way better than the photos and video suggested online - and really well priced! Thank you for our excellent stay. Extraordinary
This apartment (cloud nine) is unique. The view is breathtaking. There is only one suggestion: If there was a small roof over the wonderful terrace and grill (like the one in the garden of the stars downstairs) you could sit outside even if it's misty or raining, it would be simply perfect. My Wife's dream fulfilled
This amazing property overlooks the beautiful Blue Mountains and a sort walk to Echo Point. We planned a 5 star holiday and this was a highlight, a great place to surprise someone. My wife's reaction was amazing as she always wanted to see the blue Mountains and she woke looking at them. Great and historic garden was an amazing surprise. The hosts not only shared these wonderful views but went out of their way to ensure a stress free and wonderful stay. Highly recommended for those that want to relax and recharge, be surrounded by nature and share some amazing views, both in the garden and across the valley. One of the most perfect places we have ever stayed

Delightful, Relaxing, Amazing View, great location
What an amazing, beautiful place to stay. As you walk in the front door, it has the OMG factor. The views are the best you can get, 180 degrees over the Jamieson Valley !! Only a 5 minute walk to the Three Sisters and the start of many beautiful walking tracks. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite..... so devine. The property has the most amazing meandering gardens (make sure you ask the owner about the history of the property - you will be pleasantly surprised) The property has everything you require for a short or long stay, very clean and excellently appointed. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would certainly recommend to anyone who is looking for a memorable stay in the Mountains.

Amazing! Want to give another star!
All I could say was wow because I was speechless! The view is incredible and I felt so privleged to stay here for our 35th wedding anniversary. Secluded but with views equal to the crowded tourist lookouts. Immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy in the cold weather. Big TV too so my husband was happy while I was photographing the friendly cockatoos on the deck. We had a wonderful weekend of awe inspiring but strenuous walks and this amazing place to come back to and relax with a bottle of wine. The only thing I can think of to improve it would be the addition of a sharper kitchen knife and some microwave cooking containers but otherwise it was very well set up. A very special place!

Having grown up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney I decided that I needed a change of pace - fresh mountain air and quality of life - and before I knew it, this beautiful 2 storey house and amazing property found me - It was definitely love at first sight. I love the garden and the space it offers. In spring especially, the garden is home to over 8 varieties of birds lots of butterflies a blue tongue lizard and resident Lyre birds who spend their days digging for worms. My favourite pastime is bushwalking and discovering new tracks and waterfalls in the mountains. I enjoy meeting and greeting my guests from all over the world. It brings me so much pleasure to share this "slice of heaven" as it's too wonderful to keep to myself. I came from a corporate background in Recruitment, Sales and training and am very much a people person so my new lifestyle in this beautiful community welcoming my visitors is perfect for me.

Why they chose this property

It had the most breathtaking views of the Jamison Valley and a great location. For 49yrs the property was owned by the well-known Australian Astrologer Richard Sterling whose Astrology columns you may have read in the Australian Women's Weekly. When I was in Recruitment I studied Numerology to help understand the strengths and weaknesses of the applicants I was placing and Richard Sterling was definitely one of my fans in the 1980's so I knew this property had been earmarked for me. It's in the perfect location for tourism and convenience and is the only Astrology sign posted garden of it's kind in Australia.

What makes this property unique

The upstairs apartment is positioned on the edge of the escarpment with a huge deck offering 180 degree breathtaking views of the Jamison Valley and Mount Solitary. In winter especially the northerly aspect means that the sun warms your body throughout the year and into the cooler months. The house is fully appointed with all the comforts of home and so close to 5 major bushwalks and 5 minutes drive to the Katoomba shopping centre. You are very welcome to take a stroll through the "Garden of the Stars" during your stay. I'm sure Richard would love you to find your star sign in the garden below, and also take in the beauty and serenity that surrounds you. The property exudes healing energy which will leave you feeling peaceful and rejuvenated.
