A great base for our week in Perth
We really enjoyed our stay here. The townhouse was well stocked, clean and spacious and the location was perfect. The only quibble I have is that our mattress dipped into the centre, making it less comfortable than it could have been. We were able to babysit our grandson for a night thanks to the thoughtfully provided cot, which was an unexpected extra. And a warning to those with mobility issues - there are two flights of stairs. A good, sturdy bannister helped me cope!

Owner went over & beyond to assist with parking permit for our large vehicle. Amazing location, spacious unit, loads of kitchen appliances & utensils. Even cold water & ice in fridge upon arrival. Metres to main shopping, coffee, restaurants. Quiet complex.

Subiaco getaway
Great location in Subiaco for the entire family. Walking distance to local shops restaurants and train station which we used to get to Freemantle. We were not in Subiaco for most days but the Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes and kitchenware.

Great location apart from the very busy and noisy cafe at the rear. It’s near impossible to drive out the garage when the cafes operating, without having to ask cafe patrons to move tables and chairs. As other reviews have stated, the cafe close proximity is not ideal. Obviously not the owners fault and when raised during a previous visit they spoke to the cafe, which was great, however the cafe doesn’t actively assist to ensure their patrons don’t sit in front of the garage or tell cyclists not to park bikes against garage. Cafe put up a sign for a few hours however was gone the next day. Locations great, house is lovely, hosts were very responsive and I did stay here twice so cafes not a deal breaker. Just a shame as it reduces the quality of a very lovely house, great hosts and excellent location.

Awesome location
Great property in awesome location except for the coffee shop & food van on the back doorstep, which made it very difficult to get in and out of the carport. Bike riders continually parking their bikes against garage door was annoying. Unfortunately the QS bed in the main bedroom had no castors wheels installed down the middle of the bed, which made it very uncomfortable as with 2 people, we kept rolling into the middle. Only one towel provided for each person wasn't enough and a bit of extra toilet paper wouldn't have gone astray. Still - really close to everything so a good place to stay.

Location was absolutely fantastic where we walked most of the time to everything we needed and hardly used our car. Unit layout was perfect for us with one couple and a single adult. Clive was easily accessible and pleasant to deal with on any issues

We enjoyed our stay in this townhouse. Loved the location, off street parking, and the busy, early-opening coffee shop behind. The well-appointed laundry is on the entry level - well away from the living and sleeping areas.

Great area to stay in, CBD, bars and restaurants all close, not far from the beach either. The entry directions should to be much clearer and the property instructions need an update. We never did find out how the dryer worked, despite many 'lint' cleans. The A/C system filter also needs to be maintained.

Super conveniently located apartment in Subiaco
Great location close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed dining out at Dilly Dally, Delisio and the Subiaco Hotel. Apartment is very well set out and everything you need is available in the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. My daughter and I loved our large bedrooms with own en suites. Coffee and breakfast spot right outside the garage door. Would highly recommend staying here.

The property is located close to Rokeby Road and only a short walk to the supermarket, cafes and restaurants. The location was perfect for our family. The property was clean and well appointed. The garage door opposite at the back of the property happens to be a local bakery/cafe. quite noisy on the Friday and Saturday mornings but great coffee and food. Overall we would highly recommend Clive as a host. We enjoyed our stay and it did feel like a comfortable home from home.

We currently live in a number of locations depending upon our grand-parenting responsibilities and our travel plans but the close-to-the-city location of Jolimont, Subiaco, and Wembley seems ideal for us when we are in town. I grew up in Seattle Washington where I met Clive during the 1970's and moved to Australia soon after. Perth is a wonderful place to live, holiday, and grow children.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in 2011. It has everything we were looking for: space, sharp looking, 3 levels, secure garaging, and most importantly potential appeal to discerning short or long term guests. They all love the convenience and style as we do.

What makes this property unique

Although there are 10 properties in the Churchill Avenue building, 4 are commercial, the rear 3 are residential townhouses, and the remaining 3 apartments are very quiet living owners. Guests can walk to the Rokeby Road shops, cafes, restaurants, hotel, train station, library, parks, and even to Kings Park. It is an excellent location and guests are treated to stylish and spacious accommodation
