Rosenthal Farm Retreat offers a contemporary rural retreat where guests can relax in style and comfort.
Enjoy the rural serenity or drive to the beach in minutes.
There is so much to do:
-go bushwalking
-walk around the farm and enjoy our gardens
-go to the beach
-enjoy Milton markets (held on the first Saturday of the month)
-stay in and enjoy our extensive DVD library
-luxuriate in your two person spa overlooking rural fields
-relax with a rejuvenating massage in your own cabin

FlameTree cabin
FlameTree 'cabin' is a passive solar design with large windows to the north and east. Verandahs from the lounge and bedroom afford guests a serene view of the green rolling grazing lands towards Milton township.

There are two stylish bedrooms - one Queen with verandah and one Twin or King depending on your requirements.

Relax in the double spa of the luxury bathroom as you look over tranquil fields.

The contemporary lounge features large north facing windows and an east facing verandah complete with seating and Weber BBQ. A romantic slow combustion fireplace makes for a cosy night in. Add a flatscreen TV, CD and ipod dock, DVD player and extensive DVD library and your enjoyment is guaranteed

Not to forget the well appointed and fully equipped kitchen. If you feel like eating in, you'll find all you need in the way of utensils - just bring the ingredients. There are even fresh herbs in the garden at the front door. Cook up a storm!

Each booking is based on a two person couple.
Complimentary tea selection (from the famous gourmet TeaTonic!) and coffee (ground and instant) are there for you, always.

Nadja is offering a one to one class to guests in her studio.
Learn your choice of skill, from hand-building, to throwing, to under/over glaze painting.
Half hour = $70 pp
Full hour = $100 pp

Had the greatest time for our 3 day stay. The outlook was just gorgeous, a perfect getaway with our 2 youngest whom enjoyed the garden space, birds and cows. Very clean and complete with comfy beds. We will definitely come back for another stay.

Absolutely stunning place and outstanding hospitality. Rosenthal Retreat was so lovely and comfortable I wish I could have stayed longer. You live in a truly beautiful part of the world, and I will definitely be back again hopefully really soon.

A tonic for the soul

Beautiful location

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this beautiful part of NSW. The highlight of the stay for the kids was spotting and mother and baby wombat as they were searching for frogs! The house has everything you need for the perfect stress free break.

South Coast Summer

We really enjoyed our time here. We went to the beach everyday, enjoyed lots of great local restaurants and cafes and wineries. The accommodation was perfect for us. Kids loved all the birds tweeting, plus the frogs living on balcony. The big bath was a hit for everyone- great view from bath. We would stay again.

Serenety with a view

Rosenthal is a beautiful, quiet location with a view over the rolling hills and cattle. Nadja and Ken were fantastic hosts, their communication was great, and the pottery lesson with Nadja was loads of fun. The cabin is comforatable and very clean with really easy acces to Milton. Highly recommended for a peaceful escape for couples or good friends.

Absolutely loved it

This place was exactly what we needed to get out of the rat race. Comfy bed, and fantastically positioned spa bath to take in the view. Total serenity with no noise except the birds. We had a beautiful king parrot come to say hello too. Great and helpful communication with the owners, and despite being out of the way the cab found us easily to get out for dinner. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Great R and R

This little hideaway is a gem. It is so private and quiet and so comfortable. It's only a few minutes to great restaurants in Milton and Molleymook. It was the perfect location for rest and relaxation after a busy time in the city.

Relaxing and comfortable retreat in beautiful setting

We loved our stay at the Rosenthal Retreat! Highlights included: the beautiful views - we loved sitting on the balcony “until the cows came home”, (literally); the oversized bath complete with tea light candles; the fire with ample firewood; lovely teas including some loose leaf; the red kitchen accessories; heated tiles; and the prompt and considerate communication from the owners who kindly gave us a late checkout and a bottle of wine. We had a really great stay! The location is also noteworthy - so close to Milton yet in the country. We tried and can recommend some great nearby cafes for brunch - Milk Haus, Harvest and Tree House. Peace and Privacy

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rosenthal Retreat. The views and sounds of the country from the deck, were just what was called for. The cabin was stylish and well equipped for some home cooking. We loved the comfy bed and fantastic spa bath with beautiful views. Wonderful to be so 'remote' but so close to Milton, Mollymook, great restaurants and walks.

Great location, tranquil and quiet. The house very comfortable.

What you need for a break, but be prepared for mozzies in summer, and how to wash / dry clothes. If you need quiet country noises, and put the feet up, this is the place. Limited communications as well.

It was always Ken's dream to won a farm. He now runs a small herd of beef cattle. I (Nadja) love life on the farm too, with plenty of garden to create and enjoy. I have my own studio where I make ceramic sculpture.
