We love staying here
This is a great neighborhood for us. We love being close to the park, airport, and downtown. We easily found rideshares that were just a short trip from restaurants, museums, and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, great location but do not have 'events allowed' if they're not.
Events are not allowed here. Overall a great house looks much better than the pictures show, but if you are trying to have a get-together don't do so unless you want to receive a last-minute rude phone call from the owner. The house is beautiful, very clean, you can tell no one lives here which is nice in my opinion. I do wish the owner communicated more, there was no kind greeting message or instructions on clean up or entry, but he was quick to blow my phone up with phone calls, texts, and emails (in a matter of literally 2 minutes) when he thought there was going to be a party. I totally respect no parties, no events, but please don't falsely advertise 'events allowed' or be mean about it! We spent a fortune here and planned our birthday party for several months and 2 hours before it started we had to change last minute. I understand why no parties are allowed, the houses are super close together, no backyard privacy, and it's a family neighborhood- but again if we knew that when booking we would have gone somewhere else. Again, don't be rude and condescending to your guests, please! It's very upsetting especially when it's your birthday and you've spent so much time and money on something, I would have had a much better birthday if he just respectfully and kindly told us to relocate our party. Anyways, the wifi also doesn't work.

House with character & good location
Everything we wanted to do while in Atlanta seemed just 15 minutes from the house. The house was nice, has great character. Property is clean & owner communicates quickly. My only quam was bringing the garbage can to the curb... it was filled to the brim from someone else's stay (we only had 1 bag of garbage). Did let the owner know; he said he'd work on that aspect of the rental.

Our stay was great
The location was perfect close to Grocery Store and Starbucks and places to eat. The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The house is equipped with everything you would need for your stay. I was in town to attend a convention at the GWCC. The drive was 8 minutes. I will be coming to attend another convention at the end of September and hope to stay again. Thanks again David for your kindness. Take care.

Lovely home in quiet neighborhood. Easy access to downtown.
We were in town for a competition at Georgia Tech with our daughters for 10 nights and needed a comfortable home base close to campus. Dave's home was charming and the neighborhood was the perfect place rest and recover after a long day at the pool. The house was clean and everything was as advertised. Dave was very responsive and sent someone over when we found the kitchen faucet was leaking when we arrived. Having good internet was important to me since I was working remotely the whole time and it worked great when connected to the router directly the WiFi did drop off. The kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs and we only had to buy a few extra items to cook with. Would definitely rent from Dave again.

Very Family Friendly Stay with Convenient Access to Local Attractions
This was the perfect place for our family of three to vacation. We have a toddler and he loved having space to explore and play. For us it was nice that he had his own bedroom so that after he went to sleep we could stay up and talk, relax, spend time together, cook, and plan for the next day together. The house was very close to Centennial Park, The Aquarium, The Children's Museum, and the Zoo (even Stone Mountain was not too far of a drive) so we were able to spend most of our time enjoying attractions rather than having to leave early to be sure we could make it back for nap or bed time. I also had peace of mind knowing that there was a security system in the house. I would highly recommend this house if you are planning on visiting Atlanta.

Historic 648 House
Beautiful and spacious home. Clean and location is excellent. Owner responded rather timely when we needed him. Overall an enjoyable stay. Our only complaints were that the stove top did not work properly making it very difficult to prepare meals for our family. We notified the owner about this but I guess he was unable to fix the issue during our stay. Also we could not get the front porch lights to work making it difficult to enter and exit the home in the dark.

Very nice, comfortable home. Owner is very responsive to questions and requests.Second stay for us.
We have stayed twice at this property. It is clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. We use Uber or Lyft to get around. Approximately $7.00 ride to downtown Atlanta. CVS 24 hour drugstore within walking distance. It is our first choice when we are in Atlanta. We consider it our best kept secret for Atlanta.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family since 1987. We have rennovated the property and want to share this historical house.

What makes this property unique

The house is in Historic Grant Park in downtown Atlanta across the street from Zoo Atlanta. The house is a bungalow and was built in 1908. It has been renovated but keeps the charm of period with 9' ceilings, 3 original fireplaces and an active wood burning stove. The front porch is extends across the front of the house while the back yard is fenced with a stone patio and fire pit for relaxing evenings.
