About this property

Spend your day on the deck or from inside overlooking Taramea Bay and down to Riverton rocks. Soak in the fabulous outdoor bath while star gazing (Room for 2). Only a 2 minute stroll down the adjacent lane to the beach where you will find a lovely beach, safe for swimming and great for surfing . Just a few minutes walk to the playground and local diary. Take a 10 minute stroll to the Beach house cafe for fantastic food and coffee. Just a 5 minute drive into Riverton township where you will find Cafe's , Galleries and a wonderful Museum.
Spend your day strolling along the beach, surfing, swimming or paddle boarding and finish your day relaxing on the deck with a BBQ.
Explore the surrounds - Colac Bay, Monkey Island, Orepuki or take a bush walk through Moores Scenic Reserve. During summer you maybe lucky to see the Dolphins that frequently inhabit the area.

Girls mid-winter polar plunge

We did it, we braved the mid-winter waters then returned to a most beautiful warm house, to admire the spot where it all took place! Later that night we soaked in the outdoor bath, under a gorgeous starry night. No sign of Matariki in the early morning due to cloud but so fabulous that I could check from the comfort of my bed. Highly recommend this friendly warm and welcoming accommodation. Thank you!

Excellent place to stay

Great to find places like this that are fully fenced and allow us to bring our family pooch on holiday with us, this is a perfect crib for a family with great view’s of the sea, we had a very relaxing time and will be back again. Thank you to the wonderful hosts

A Wonderful Place to relax.

Was perfect for what we wanted. A couple of days away with granddaughter and doggies was perfect. We loved the house and the dogs loved the big fully fenced garden. Was a special time. Such a pretty wee house with all the mid cons and many extras. Thank you so much.

The 1 chair on the balcony collapsed within minutes of our arrival.This left my partner very upset and sore.Very basic pantry staples in comparison to other places we stayed..Great views and decor.

Nice Cottage by the sea

Bach had everything you need, just bring food for a lazy weekend! Or toys for the beach! We enjoyed our weekend even if the weather was iffy. Bed comfortable, great wifi, wonderful view of the waves! Just a short walk from Beach, and Cafe!

Relaxing stay

A very quaint batch that is well kept and maintained and had all that we needed to have a hassle-free relaxing break. We loved the garden setting and of course the view of the ocean from the veranda. a few minutes walk from the beach and the local dairy, we will be back again to enjoy.

Very happy with this Riverton house, Deborah was very easy to deal with and made us feel at home. Its a lovely spot with a great view and very close to the beach, will certainly be back some day would love to stay there again.

Logement très agréable et très bien situé. A proximité immédiate de la mer et d’un parc de jeu ce qui est très pratique quand on a des enfants. La maison a également un jardin très agréable et bien entretenu. Les jeux de société ont également fait plaisir à notre fille. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Delightful

Very nicely decorated and comfortable house. The outside bath was fantastic. The property is all fully fenced so we were not worried about the dog eascaping. Hope to get back again.
