Lovely location

The property was accurate per the listing - the smaller shower/ bathroom was known by us before check in so didn’t detract from our lovely stay - everything was well presented and all our needs were met including the great location close to the town by walking a short distance. The owner was friendly & helpful, we would love to stay again sometime. Beds & couch were comfy!

Lock box a bit hard to operate, and neighbouring property a construction site dump; would put a curtain across to hide, otherwise a lovely quiet stay.Berrima does need a shop to sell newspapers

Great location

Enjoyed our girls weekend away in the lovely Characters Cottage Berrima. Great location, close to town and a short drive to Bowral and Mittagong. Lovely open fire to the cold nights and also a gas heater for instant heat.

Fantastic place

A group of 3 friends stayed for a weekend and it was a terrific home. We used the fire and there was nice heating in all rooms as well. Comfy lounge area to relax. We walked to restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house in the centre of Berrima

Sarah's house is beautiful, well-equipped and located a few minutes walk from the main street in Berrima. The heating and open fire place were perfect for the cold evenings. Sarah was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay.

Great location

Great location and amenities- microwave, fridge, coffee machine and lots of essential items were available, I.e. soap, dishwashing liquid, milk, coffee pods, toilet paper etc. Lovely view from the kitchen window. The bathroom was very small including the shower area. The curtains in the bedrooms were very thin.

Excellent location. Walking distance to shops, bakery and pub . Very comfortable but I would suggest an upgrade of the bathroom in the near future. Shower very small for a tall man.

Beautiful and Peaceful Cottage.

Lovely cottage, very nicely decorated and the comfiest couch you will ever sit on! One star down for the tiny shower but otherwise we loved our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked 2 meals there and it had everything we needed. It is very peaceful sitting in the beautiful garden, which was a real treat for us apartment-dwellers. Great location, very close to Berrima township - easily walking distance. Sarah is lovely and very quick with responses. We loved the little local cookie treats she left for us too. Thank you! Would definitely stay here again.

A Charming Stay in Berrima - Highly Recommended!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning, character-filled cottage in Berrima, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautifully styled home that perfectly blended comfort and charm. The cosy fireplace and comfortable beds made for a wonderfully relaxing stay, and the stylish interiors added a touch of luxury to the whole experience. The local area was a delight to explore. We particularly loved visiting Baked In Berrima, an Italian bakery where everything we tried was “bellissimo,” and Gumnut Patisserie, where the coffee and donuts were absolutely delicious. Our host, Sarah, was exceptional. She was not only attentive and caring but also went out of her way to ensure that every detail of our stay was perfect. She even made thoughtful arrangements for our two whippets, who, unfortunately, had to stay home at the last minute. Her care and attention to detail made us feel incredibly well looked after. We can’t recommend this cottage enough. If you’re looking for a charming, peaceful getaway in Berrima, this is the perfect place to stay.

Cosy and close to everything in Berrima

Cute pet friendly accomodation. The lounge with open fire was really cosy. Easy access to Berrima town, cafes, restaurants and shopping, as only a short 5 min stroll away.

This lovely little cottage is very conveniently located in the heart of Berrima, walking distance to the main street, and just a 5 minute drive from Bendooley Estate where we were attending a wedding. Sarah's communication was great. Three bedrooms with queen beds. Smallish bathroom but adequate - I believe from other reviews I read that they are planning to update this. I'd love to go back and stay in winter to make use of the fireplace. Drop by Woolies in Mittagong on your way down to get milk. Tea, coffee (including pods) and sugar provided.

This property has a gorgeous outlook and is so close to everything that is important (when you go away) that we felt we couldn't pass it up...

Styled property, beautiful comfy velvet down sofa to sit in front of an open fire, the garden has rural outlook over the valley and we are 2 mins walk from town. There are so many interesting things about Berrima. It is the home of many well known musicians and not uncommon to find a kangaroo or wombat foraging around in the garden.
