If it's the Melbourne experience that you are looking for this is it! Soho52 is a beautiful, well appointed apartment in fabulous Fitzroy. Its location is superb, just minutes from the city, with trams and trains only moments away. Fitrzoy can be described as the love child of Soho and Greenwich Village because of its great location, shops, galleries and personality.

Soho52 is a genuine walk to the city, MCG, Rod Laver arena and sporting precincts, museum, and parklands. On your doorstep are so many great restaurants, cafes and shops.

The free city circle tram is only a short stroll away and will take you to many popular locations such as Federation Square, the aquarium, the museum, Southbank, Casino, and Docklands.

*** Instead of paying a bond, guests are welcome to provide details of a credit card to be held over the duration of their stay (only $1 taken to verify the card). Otherwise a $500 bond is payable.

You are very welcome to enquire about 2 night bookings, but we cannot always accommodate short bookings.

Strictly no parties, gatherings, or events,are allowed at the accommodation. Excessive noise in the immediate area of the accommodation including the street, garden and balconies will also not be tolerated. Violation of this rule will lead to your rental being terminated with no refund of fees. We hope you can understand the reasons for this. Loved the apartment, the area, the women we dealt with!!
The apartment is very modern, superbly equipped and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking, washed a lot of clothes and had everything we needed. The area of Fitzroy is full of great places to eat and to shop. Walking and efficient public transportation made getting anywhere in the city very easy- walking to the Australian Open took 30 minutes mostly walking through a park. We hope to get back to Melbourne and stay there again. Jane and George WA USA

Great Location - Great Accommodation
Modern, clean, fully equipped to make your stay in Melbourne pleasurable. Restaurants close by or Lygon Street just a short walk away. Free tram service just a 5 minute walk for quick transportation into the city. The accommodation has everything that other places dont think of (hangers, all the kitchen supplies required...do don't have to make a stop at the grocery store, as everything was thought of). A great place to stay!!!!

Property does not have 2 bathrooms.
Please note that this property has only 1 bathroom despite being advertised as having 2. The 2nd bathroom, off the small second bedroom, is only a toilet and vanity. There is no shower here. The property was extremely dusty throughout. The hot plates were rusty (the main one not working), oven filthy, washing machine had black mould in the door seal, dryer filter not cleaned and no bedside tables in second bedroom - not enough room. If this property was thoroughly cleaned and advertised as 1 bathroom I would consider it an excellent choice. The main living room/ kitchen area is large, well furnished and the kitchen very well equipped. There is a small balcony. The property is on the first floor up 2 short flights of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no sound proofing and you hear the front door open and shut all night. Apart from this, the neighbours are very quiet and you should respect them as they live here permanently. ie. No parties! Security is good as is access to trams to the city.

Great place, great location
We spent a week at Soho 52 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had our own car but really didn't need it because the access to public transportation was excellent. Gertrude Street was right there with its many groovy bars and restaurants but you could easy eat in at the apartment with its well resources kitchen. Very comfortable bedrooms and Katrina was a welcoming host. We will be back!!

Convenient and Comfortable
Katrina was very accommodating, letting us drop off bags early. Soho52 is quiet, clean and comfortable. Just around the corner from Gertrude St and Brunswick St where there's so many great food options even vegan! Air con was much appreciated on the day we arrived - 38 degrees. We loved our stay and would totally recommend.

What a great place to stay!
Soho52 is a beautiful apartment, airy & light with polished concrete floors. There is a lot of space in the lounge and kitchen area to relax and unwind. The location is brilliant, close to the city & within walking distance to restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Kitchen is well equipped and plenty of reading material including guides for Melbourne. There were five of us in the family and plenty of space for all of us. Katrina has thought of all possibilities. We used the cooler bag for our travels and the shopping trolley was useful. The beds were comfortable. 5 of 5. I would definitely stay here again when travelling to Melbourne.

Beautiful Apartment
Wow where do I start. The location was great. Tram nearby and the eateries and nearby pubs were fantastic. The apartment was clean, the pantry items were most welcome and thanks so much for fresh milk in the fridge and a nice loaf of sourdough bread, not to mention my little birthday pressie. brilliant apartment
Second time we have stayed here. Great location close to city, tram stop at both ends of the road, Fitzroy has great places to eat and drink. Lovely touch that when we arrived in the evening after long flight from the UK fridge stocked with fresh milk butter, there was coffee, tea and hot cross buns on the side. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect!

Soho52 surpassed our expectations! So delighted to arrive at this beautiful, clean and spacious apartment to share a fun four nights with our Kiwi friends. The location is wonderful and I love that Brunswick & Gertrude Streets are minutes away with ample coffee, food and beer/wine bar choices! We could Tram everywhere and a cab to the Vic Markets (as we slept in) was only $7 ish. Am definitely recommending to friends/family and reckon that Fitrzoy has a great warm vibe that staying in closer city locations don't have.

Soho52 was absolutely amazing. Delightfully decorated (just loved the polished concrete floor), well equipped, very comfortable and in a fabulous location. Even though Id looked at the map I didnt appreciate how well situated it was. Gertrude and Brunswick Streets at your door and the city only a short walk away. We recommend the retro burgers at Belles Diner around the corner and the jugs of Pimms at Wildes on a warm afternoon. Well definitively stay here again.

We loved this place! Perfect for a girls weekend away, close to the city and great shopping locations as well as great night life and resturants. The apartment was fantastic, had everything we could have needed. LOVED IT and would definately reccomend to others. Hopefully we will have another excuse to get away and then we will be back for sure! Thanks :)
