The home was very clean and the host was very easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner to any questions or concerns I had. I appreciated that host was proactive when it came to any possible concerns that could arise. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Was an excellent atmosphere to unwind and relax in an environment that wasn’t a hotel for a while. Also super appreciative that the property was pet friendly on top of it all! Thank you!
Husband and I stayed for a long weekend. Loved the cabin, it is so adorable! Super close to town and easy walk to the beach. Ella was very helpful when we needed it! Looking forward to staying again and bringing the kids!
Property didn’t feel clean. There were no amenities. We left a day early because the dining room chairs and couch were very uncomfortable. We were hoping to reset with a good nights sleep, but the bed in the small bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable. The walk to the beach and the beach experience was very nice. The neighbor was very nice as well and offered us fresh tomatoes.
This place was great. So relaxing just hanging out in the back yard (I live in an apartment) and relaxing was awesome. There was a little grill in the back so I cooked out everyday. Fire pit was great just bring extra sketter spray. Things you'll need, saran wrap or storage bags. Next time I won't bring as much food with me I'll just do the shopping when I get there. That's all I can think of.
Dissatisfied that the loft area was not available as advertised, no one told us which caused myself sleeping on very uncomfortable couch, this should have been disclosed as we probably would have selected a different property. Very disappointed

It was cute
It could be cleaner and needs more towels and new pillows!! Bring your own pillows and towels other than that the location is perfect, the neighbor is so kind, dog friendly and the beach was perfect!!
Amazing!! Took a trip to reset with my 4 yo son, and two older dogs. The cottage itself is just adorable. It just has this hippies/zen vibe that is purely contagious. I had a couple quick questions and Ella, the host was super responsive. About a two minute stroll down the dirt road to the private beach, which we pretty much had to ourselves the entire week. The beaches are perfect, lots of sand, minimal rocks at water break. My old dogs had a great time. There was a nice little patio deck and yard for them to catch some sun. And they were even allowed on the beach earlier in the morning and evening! The neighbors were all beyond friendly. And downtown Lexington shopping was a five minute drive. We will certainly be back!!
This little home is so quaint and incredibly cozy! The kitchen was well stocked and equipped for cooking. The cottage is situated in a lovely neighborhood that makes for nice walks with your dog. The neighbor, Kim, shovels & blows the snow around your car, driveway and entrance, which was awesome! You are literally only a few blocks from the Lake and also just minutes to the village, that has everything you need, including some great restaurants. I felt very safe here as well. I would definitely stay here again, and the hostess is wonderful- super friendly, responsive and kind.
This place was perfect for my adult children, myself and our tiny fur baby. The communication with the owner was fantastic. I would absolutely book this property again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in a great area!
It certainly isn't anything fancy, but it was just what we wanted. A small place for a couple of night, not a room in a hotel. I have to say, after staying at many rental this place was nicely stocked. Made our way south the the Blue Water Bridge. And dinner at the Village Pub in Lexington. Will stay again if in the area..
Very close to the lake. The lake is beautiful. Private beach. Some spots are nice and sandy and others with small stones. Neighborhood is also very nice if you like to just walk around. Price is super good. Cabin was clean. Dogs allowed 🐶. Dogs are allowed on the beach only early mornings and late evenings though. The owner is very nice and replies to questions or concerns very fast. We had good time for a fraction of the cost comparing to the nearby places. Also cleaning fee, pet fee is very reasonable. Great place if u want to get away and not spend too much.
The house was tidy, just a few minor things like the toilet seat being loose and a spider here or there. The lawn needs some maintenance, but we enjoyed the fire pit both nights and cornhole with our kids. The private beach down the road was really great. Nice sand and not too rocky. The neighbor to the left was welcoming and told us the kids could use the playground at the neighborhood's community building, which they enjoyed. The host was very responsive and check in and out were a cinch. Would go back.
Property allows dogs but the beach does not, which we didn't know until we got there, so hopefully others see this for their own planning.

Just a quick walk to the beech.
Cottage was just what we needed for a fast getaway. We had a nice time. The beach is sandy and the water's not rocky.
We had a great stay in this quiet neighborhood. Some of the best Lake Huron beaches are in this neighborhood.....some rocks and some sand....jetties every so often. We loves the cozy house. The kitchen skylight really cheered the place up!
