Such a comfortable beautifully decorated and kept home away from home. Truely welcoming and helpful host who made me so excited about visiting Broken Hill. I will be back.
Quaint little presbytery accomodation that’s literally behind the church. Had everything needed(bar milk so BYO) for a couple of days and a really comfortable bed. Furniture/ furnishings a little on the old fashioned side but I guess that’s part of its character. Andrea was lovely to deal with and check in was easy. It is in South Broken Hill so you do need to drive to the main part of town but it’s not that far.

Not to far from the main part of broken hill. Very charming. Communication was great and the information provided was invaluable. Would definitely recommend and will be back
Lovely little place to stay in Broken Hill and it was perfect for what I needed. The bed was ultra comfortable and the turbo-charged shower set me up for the day. Elaine, the caretaker, is a real treasure and lovely person to talk to. All in all, I can recommend Church Stay.

Clean and well appointed.
Came here for work. Shower is a bit tricky to work! Luckily Billy knows how to turn the water on! Perhaps leave instructions in the bathroom🙏

Good property
We quite enjoyed our stay although the shower was not the best, and the manager was to say a little over intrusive.

Unique property
Just back from great trip out west. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.
Convenient location, owners very obliging. Ticked all the boxes for us. Encourage you to have a look at the main church area. Owners have done a brilliant job restoring this building. Something special.

The property was warm, clean and comfortable, with a sensitive, tasteful and functional updating of an old building. As we were arriving late, the owners had thoughtfully arranged for the caretaker to let us in, and had unexpectedly provided bread, butter and milk in addition to the customary tea, coffee and biscuits. There was no cloth for kitchen clean-ups, but one was provided the instant we mentioned it. The furnishings, linen and dishes were of good quality, but could be improved by adding some serving dishes and bowls for preparing food.A good experience in all.
