In addition to its proximity to all the nightlife & casinos in Stateline, Tahoe Woods is close to hiking, biking & rock climbing at Van Sickle State Park, as well as the famous Tahoe Rim Trail. This 3BR townhome features modern mountain décor in an open-concept living space, large windows, vaulted ceilings & AC. Bring your furry family, this home is dog friendly.

This home has comfortable sleeping & dining for a family of 9 if children are included. It cannot host more than 8 adults. This applies 24/7.

Local Tip: Not only is Tahoe Woods walking distance from all the fun at Stateline but there are also hidden outdoor gems as well! Just behind the village center is the Van Sickle State Park for hiking, biking & lots of rocks for kids to climb on. Nearby is Tahoe Rim Trail which offers great views of the lake & mountains.

The open-concept floor plan is perfect for relaxing w/ friends & family. The large living space, w/ leather sectional & HDTV, is perfect for curling up by the fire or watching a movie. To make this room all the more inviting, the large windows & vaulted ceilings let in beautiful natural light! A beautiful deer antler chandelier adds to the mountain rustic feel to this modern home.

Open to the living & dining space is the newly built kitchen. W/ granite countertops, large island w/ seating for three, french door fridge/freezer, five burner gas range, & double oven, the chef of the group will delight in making this kitchen their work space!

When dinner is hot & ready to be served, the dining table is just steps away w/ seating for 6. After dinner, enjoy a delicious beverage on the private balcony w/ seating for 2 & gas BBQ.

When it’s time for bed, rest assured you'll sleep easy in one of the 3 bedrooms. If you did the work to find this rental be sure to snag the master bedroom! w/ king bed, private outdoor area & spa-worthy ensuite bathroom you deserve it. All bedrooms have Apple TV.

Pets: 1 dog under 35lbs allowed w/ pre-approval. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

Everything was nice and the kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook etc. We have stayed in many VRBO's and this one was one of the best well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The items were of good quality too. This will be on our return to places for sure.We had a small issue checking in with the door lock code. We made a call and it was quickly resolved. No issues at all.

Grateful for the Wide variety of pans, pots, spices etc which made it easy to make meals for our family of five. Spacious bedrooms with comfy beds provided restful nights of sleep. Easy to walk to the village and the casinos and the gondola for skiing. Despite the less than abundant snowfall this season, we still found some good runs up top and filled the evenings strolling the area. We had some trouble with the cable/TV and management extremely responsive and helped provide an alternative solution. Aside from hearing our upstairs neighbors’ kids run around some of the early mornings, it was the perfect vacation for us all!

Just a couple comments
First let me say that the place was really great; we especially loved the kitchen, dining room space/table, the decor, the auto bathroom lighting, the ease of the door lock system, the entertainment options, AC, the gated neighborhood (though I noticed while out walking the dog that the gate was open one of the nights at 1 am and I couldn't close it), the proximity to the attractions of So Lake Tahoe, and more. But I just wanted to let you know of a couple of issues: garage door key: I didn't figure out that the key went to the door to the garage for a couple of days; maybe a tag on the key would help. the medium-sized black spiders: We ended up needing to kill 4 of these in the downstairs rooms/bathrooms. I know the mountains have spiders but just wanted to let you know. AC fan in the multi-bed bedroom: The motor of what I think was the AC for that space was so loud that I could not have slept in that room. Fortunately, the teenagers were able to. It really doesn't sound right. The BBQ was not useable as it did not heat up past ~200 degrees. We had fresh trout but had to bake them in the oven after trying in the BBQ for 40 min. The propane was not the issue, btw.

The home is very spacious, well appointed and just a few blocks away from Heavenly Village. There you'll find multiple restaurants, live music and eclectic shopping spots. Back at home, you'll find the most comfortable beds to fall in after a full day of adventure. The gas fireplace in front of the generously sized sectional sofa was a main gathering point for our crew at night. The home will comfortably support three couples or two couples with kids.

We loved our stay! Went with girlfriends. Lots of space for the three of us. Comfy beds! Extra blankets! Well organized kitchen with everything we needed to cook. Not only is the beach a short walk, the grocery store and dining is only 2 blocks. The small gated community also made us feel safe coming home late at night. You can also walk to casinos, heavenly shopping and much more. And for hiking it was 25 minutes to east lake trails and 25 minutes the opposite direction to west lake trails, best of both worlds. We loved it!

Wonderful place
My husband and I along with our two children, my parents and brother all had a very comfortable stay. The condo is spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a great location- close enough to walk to town and the beach and also a close drive to the beautiful Emerald Bay and hiking around that area. We definitely look forward to staying again!

The condo was very clean and filled with the essentials we would need for our week in Tahoe. This condo is a 8 min walk to the Lakeside Marina and a 10 min walk to Heavenly Village and for us that made it the Perfect Location. We also felt secure being within the gated condo complex. It was also nice having air conditioning for some of the warm afternoons coming back from the lake. There is noise from the condo above but it was never overbearing. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to enjoy Tahoe's Summer or Winter activities.

Spring break getaway

Reviewer Comments: We spend a lot of time in South Tahoe during the winter season with our two kids and dog but typically stay at a family vacation home 45 minutes away. We wanted to find something in town close to the gondola and restaurants. The location is great with just a short walk to the Village even with all our snowboard gear and towing our two kids behind. The home was spacious and clean with all the needed amenities. If you want a great place for your dog to have a fun vacation as well Tahoe Best Friends is the place for them. Our only complaint is that the floors appear to be thin or the neighbors were just loud as the upstairs neighbor was up walking around one night at 2 am and woke up the whole family. Overall this is an excellent place to stay and great location and we would absolutely stay here again.
