****WALK TO THE BEACH!!! ****
Leave the car at home and walk to our quiet local beach. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes and is flat, no hills to walk back up after cooling down at the beach!
Awesome location if you are wanting to be able to walk to the beach (and take dogs). No need to worry about trying to find a car park (peak season is very busy and difficult to find car park close) and a patch of sand on the beach. You can walk, making a relaxing, stress free beach holiday.
Easy 300 metres walk to Whites Beach (dog friendly all year round), childrens playground and The Sands Golf Club house. Enjoy a drink or meal in the cafe/restaurant or a round of golf. A few minutes walk and you are on the golf course, grab a bucket of balls for a practice hit and enjoy a beverage as the sun goes down. Or book in for a lesson or a round of golf on this Championship course.
Beautiful foreshore walking/running/riding tracks all the way into the town centre. Take a 30 minute walk along the beach or foreshore track to the many cafes, restaurants and shops in Torquay town centre.
'Fishermans Beach' boat ramp only 2min driveaway. Launch the boat for a day on the ocean and enjoy fresh fish for dinner.
Torquay North shopping center is within 5 minutes drive, here you will find a variety of shops including Woolworths, take away food outlets, cafes, bakery and petrol.
The house is spacious, modern and perfect for families.
Two storey house
Downstairs: two large double bedrooms. The rumpus room/ 4th bedroom has TV and DVD player and Queen bed. Bathroom with bath and separate toilet. Steps out onto north facing large backyard with plenty to keep children busy including trampoline. Large grass area for a kick of the soccer ball. Outdoor seating, BBQ and fire pit to rest and watch the kids play.
Upstairs: Huge open plan kitchen with dishwasher and 5 burner gas stove, dining for 8 and lounge. Upstairs is spacious. Master bedroom with Queen bed, ensuite and separate toilet. Front balcony and side balcony with sitting areas to read a book. Air con and ceiling fans.

Families love staying at Bass Holiday house as we are close to the beach and you don't have to leave your furry friends behind. The dog beach is a short stroll, the only rule, is dogs must remain outside. Children and adults alike love the free wifi, Netflix and Amazon for relaxing after a day at the beach or a family bike ride into the town. The Sands gold course is only a hop, skip and jump away and is available for casual play and meals.
