The communication with the property owner was fantastic....This is truely a hidden gem.....Nature, quietness, calmness galore!! A great place to relax and enjoy. The fire pit is sensational. The inside decor is a bit dated but still very comfy and a great hot shower!! Loved our second stay - We will be back!
This was our second visit to this peaceful and tranquil location. The shack has everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway. If you are looking for an awesome location with a traditional style shack then this place is for you. We can’t wait to visit again. Love the simplicity of the shack, with the amazing location and tranquility of the river. We will be back for sure. Thank you Greg for allowing us to stay at your shack again 😊
We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful, serene location to celebrate our 50th Birthdays. The river, the cliffs, the fire pit, the sunsets, the birds....especially the resident kookaburra greeting us every morning and every evening. An unforgettable 6 days for special milestone. Thanks Greg.
A very old and outdated cabin which was very comfortable and met all our needs. A cheap shack with a brilliant location! We will definitely be returning.
Such an easy holiday experience from start to finish. Absolutely stunning location so close to Adelaide. Sitting directly on the river with a fire and water toys for hire was pure heaven.
Thank you Greg.
Very basic indoors but this only added to the charm, experience and opportunities to connect. Highly recommend.
Perfect couple of days. No fancy frills, just the essentials which encourages engaging with the beautiful outdoor environment.
Picturesque at its best.
The Shack is basic accomodation, but the out look, and serenity out ways that. It was cosy and the fire pit was perfect.
Great there is a TV (for the footy).
The water can be tricky at times but once the shower is running, it's excellent. A little home away from home.
Thanks for a beautiful stay....
Big thanks to Greg for the info and accommodation. Just what we needed for the couple of days. It was a great and peaceful outlook to the cliffs and no body about, was very quiet.
Had a lovely few days in this fully self contained shack in a fabulous location. Greg put up a marquee prior to arrival with table & chair setting for extra shade. Candles on the table were a lovely touch. Will definitely return.
Beautiful spot on the river to unwind and relax. Easy check in with great communication from owner. This shack had everything we needed, plenty of bed space, shower and bath, coffee machine a bonus. Amazing views, awesome fire pit, walking trails across the road, hammock and bench seat under the shade of a tree and lots of lovely green grass. Perfect little get away for a peaceful and relaxing weekend 😊 highly recommend this place.
Can only reiterate previous guest comments. Great location, beautiful setting on the river. Lovely lawn down to the riverbank, nice deck, excellent boating facilities. However I'd say claiming you have "2 bedrooms" may lead some to argue otherwise.
Great location traditional shack, they don’t make them like they use to
Had a excellent weekend by right by the water with beautiful scenery from the surrounding Cliffs and picture perfect mornings flat calm mornings we thourougly enjoyed our weekend.

Had a great time, amazing view. Relaxing watching the sunrise and set. Hammok is so nice under the weeping willow and gum tree, watching the birds and boats.
