The house is set in the charming and peaceful, coastal village of Arrawarra, alongside the Solitary Islands Marine Park on the sub-tropical mid-north coast of New South Wales. This new, spacious beach house flows from the front to a wall of bi-fold doors and windows with overhead louvres, opening completely to blue skies, wide, covered decks (with alfresco dining) and the private, fully fenced and landscaped back garden.
The home boasts cool and elegant native timber floors throughout and two state of the art bathrooms each with walk-in, combined “rain” and hand-held showers and heated towel rails. The living, dining and kitchen areas are open-plan (with reverse cycle air-conditioning) whilst the 3 bedrooms are private and all look out over either front or back gardens. A study is also available to access a Wi-Fi printer or for the use of a desk. All bedrooms contain comfortable beds, tri-speed ceiling fans and large built-in wardrobes and shelving. The bedroom containing single beds also has a wall mounted TV. Perfect for the kids.
Telephone and internet access (broadband ADSL Plus), Wi-Fi is provided, together with TVs, DVD player, stereo CD, i-pod docks, digital radios and media box. A large selection of DVDs is available. Books are also supplied as are children's games and painting utensils.
Of course, dishwasher, main fridge/freezer, bar fridge, microwave, washing machine, dryer, stove and oven are all there for your use.
The kitchen is FULLY equipped for preparing gourmet, family feasts or intimate dinners. You can even pick your own fresh, seasonal herbs from the garden. Alternatively, you can opt for a casual BBQ (Weber Family Q) on the back decks. The dining room table can seat 8, whilst the breakfast bar seats 3 and the outside table and chairs, accommodate 6 people. Spare deck chairs and drinks table are also provided. The brand new washing machine and dryer are concealed in the beautifully conceived, second bathroom.
This eco-friendly home was designed to blend with the local environment and beachside community, whilst no expense has been spared in the interior design and appointments. This property was created to be flexible and so it’s perfect for families with kids, couples and/or small groups of friends. The fully fenced front and back gardens minimise the risk of the kids and pets, escaping! There is a carport for 2 cars and off street parking, as well.
Surfing, swimming, fishing, bushwalking and cycling are all minutes on foot from your front gate, making it the perfect get-away from the bustle of big cities. When the tide is right, there is a 0.5km surf break off the headland – perfect for a long ride on your long board! You will be able to explore ancient aboriginal fish ponds which nestle into Arrawarra Headland. The added bonus of Solitary Islands Marine Park, just off the coast of Arrawarra, contains many excellent diving and snorkelling sites.
Surf school, surfboard hire, sky-diving on to Arrawarra beach (from Coffs Harbour airport) and bike hire, are all available from Arrawarra beach camping ground (next to your beach), which also has a small general store for newspapers, ice-creams and other basic items.

Local Area – Amenities
Woolgoolga, your nearest town, is only 6kms (6 mins) away by car and has the full range of amenities (mega supermarket, shopping, cafes and restaurants, fitness club, banks, a pharmacy, bakeries, fish shops etc) and more stunning beaches. Coffs Harbour is 30 kms (25 mins) away by car and is the region’s major city and commercial centre with large malls, boutique shopping precincts, cinemas and an airport.
Whale watch boats depart regularly from Coffs Harbour jetty through the whale watching season from June to November. Dive boats also depart from the jetty area to a number of excellent sites in the Solitary Islands Marine Park and environs.
Coffs Harbour Dolphin Marine Magic has regular shows for children and you can also swim with the dolphins and see (and be kissed by) unique Australian seals and sea lions. A small selection of other Australian native wildlife is also kept around the pool area. Coffs Harbour is also home to the “Big Banana” which has a water park and is a fun day out for the children and family.
Golf
Bonville International Golf Resort is about 11 mins from Coffs Harbour (public can play). Coffs Harbour Golf Club (27 holes Championship course – public) and Woolgoolga Returned Services League Golf Club, Safety Beach (18 holes, limited public access, home to many kangaroos), 3 mins from Arrawarra.

There are numerous festivals in the local region throughout the year, including Byron Bay Blues Festival, Bellingen Music Festival, Bellingen Readers and Writers' Festival, Bellingen Winter Music Festival, Camp Creative, Bellingen Turtle Festival. Closer to home is the Woolgoolga Curry Festival and monthly markets and Bollywood markets. Consider timing your stay to connect with these fabulous events.
