White Cedar apartment is set in a truly magnificent Queenslander homestead surrounded by rainforest trees and lush tropical gardens in the quietest part of the historic town of Bangalow.

French doors from the bedroom and separate spacious lounge lead to quiet garden courtyards only disturbed by bird song...Outdoor sitting area is a perfect place to enjoy warm morning rays with your cup of tea/local coffee or to unwind with a glass of chilled wine after a long day at the beach.

The homestead is located in a quiet 'Cul-de-sac' with off street parking and ideal for those seeking an escape from the big smoke. Whether a romantic getaway, a wedding/fucntion or an alternative to hustle and bustle of Byron Bay, it provides the privacy and peace you are dreaming of.

We are an easy 5mins walk to the village, famous for its restaurants, cafes and shops. Just over 10 mins drive to Byron Bay, Broken head and Kings beach.

The light filled north east facing apartment (completely separate from main house) covers the entire ground floor with its own entries so guests can come and go as they wish with total privacy.

There is a queen size bed with luxury Sheridan bedding, latex pillows and portacots for small children. A single fold up bed is available for an extra guest

Galley style kitchen with basic cooking facilities, Bar Fridge, Microwave, rice cooker, electric frypan,(no cooktop or oven). Gas BBQ/oven with side wok burner.

Beautifully appointed large heated modern bathroom.

For those with well behaved dogs, there is plenty of space to play in a fully fenced lawn garden

During your stay at White Cedar you may be lucky enough to spot our local Koala residents in the surrounding trees of the property

White Cedar Apartment

White Cedar Apartment is a lovely private space in a quiet location in Bangalow. The host, Stuart made sure everything was in order when I arrived, gave me some local tips and then let me relax into the space. It was very clean and tidy and I would recommend booking this space to anyone needing accommodation in Bangalow.

Great Getaway

Perfect spot if you wanna be out of the bussiness of Byron. Great host even when we were being loud and annoying girls, he was very nice. Highly recommend it for a couple looking for a quiet getaway :)

Perfect stay in Bangalow

We were in town for the Bangalow Chamber Music Festival. Great accommodation. Short walk to town and hall. Cosy studio downstairs. Heaters were welcome and kept us snug on cool nights. Easy check in and check out. Host was friendly and helpful. Quiet neighbours and would be lovely to bring our pup next time. Thank you.

Charming Weatherboard Apartment in Tropical garden setting

Charming weatherboard home with large self contained contemporary apartment, leading to private pet secure tropical garden. Peace and relaxation. Well located with short stroll to all Bangalow has to offer! The owner Stuart, is a gracious host when required, otherwise we had total privacy. Will definitely make Bangalow a mid year ritual, and hope to stay in White Cedar Apartment again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Stuart made us most welcome and responded quickly to a couple of my requests. Pawfectly perfect for our needs and little Nora dog. Lovely central location for exploring the area. Comfortable and cosy. Easily whipped up dinner each night with all the kitchen things n BBQ supplied. Loved the little thoughtful touches. Chocolates and plunger coffee.

Lush quiet central location

I had the absolute pleasure to spend a couple of nights at White Cedar Apartment recently. Stuart was the perfect host, and very understanding when I had to cut my trip short due to the weather … thank you Stuart. The location is perfect for a stroll into Bangalow, or a drive to anywhere on the Northern Rivers, honestly though it was hard to leave the apartment to go anywhere as it’s just so calm, lush and peaceful. Looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

What a fantastic 4 day stay we had. The property is lovely and enjoyed sitting in the garden every night listening to the wildlife. Relaxing break

Peace and quiet, away from the madding crowd but not isolated. Central to the areas we wished to visit.Two small dogs settled well as did their owners. Stuart the owner close but not intrusive.
