Perfect Stay
This was our second stay at Avue Retreat. We had another comfortable stay and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the mountain views. The pub across the road was another plus!

Very pleasant stay in the Grampians
We enjoyed our time at Avue - a great place for two couples to stay on the outskirts of Halls Gap. It was large and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and large dining table for eating at home. But we did have to draw lots to decide who got the bedroom with its own spa bath!

We really enjoyed staying here. Love how big the master bedroom was so portacot could fit in. There was a high chair which made it convenient for little one. Such a great place to stay and only a min walk to the pub. Will definitely come back.

Spacious modern house in great location
This was an ideal house for us as two couples - two bathrooms and plenty of space. The location in Halls Gap was convenient to see all the major sites and walks of the northern Grampians, although you'll probably want a car (or bike) to get to the shops.

Lovely location and gorgeous views. Everything we could have needed ( and more). Enjoyed a walk to the pinnacle first day and around lake fyans second day and avoided getting wet both days! Would happily stay again. Our overseas guests were thrilled with the master bedroom.

Beautiful views
Perfect location not too far from town centre. Great having the pub across the road for a couple of meals. Loved waking up to see the rocky mountains. Quiet for kids to go to bed and sleeping. Great BBQ area. We did lose internet but we did cope probably wished I'd brought a few more DVDs with us but only because we don't watch a lot of normal TV. A great luxury stay in Halls Gap.

Fantastic house and location
Halls Gap is a great place; staying at this house added to the experience. It was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. If you are up to walking or biking into town, it is a short distance away. The Halls Gap Hotel is just across the road, serves excellent meals, and has a bottle shop. The house has tons of room and is well laid out. Listening to the birds, watching an emu walk across the lawn, and then waking up to kangaroos in the yard added to our great stay. I'd stay there again!
