Hi Darren, Had a wonderful time in your beautiful home. The views were stunning, the decor very tasteful, the amenities were ample and the location was private and perfect. Firstly huge shoutout to the owner of the house Darren. He was extremely helpful, always available And was so kind and attentive to whatever we needed. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the location and view is incredible. The house was so clean and had everything you would ever need. Such a friendly family home for a holiday house. We had adults, teens and kids and every single one of us loved staying there! Definitely will rebook next time we go to Phillip island.

Beautiful, relaxing home for the whole family with gorgeous surroundings

From the moment we exited the car when we arrived, we were completely blown away with how beautiful and relaxing this accommodation was both inside and out. A huge yard outside with heaps of room for the kids to play, with an excellent outdoor seating area with water views. Inside, the house has more than enough room for the whole family, with so many activities to do. There's gorgeous water views throughout the whole kitchen and living space. Kitchen was well-equipped. The living space had so many entertainment options for the whole family with an extremely comfortable large sofa and TV. The beds were very comfortable, and we often saw rabbits in the morning through the bedroom windows. The beach and restaurants were a 5 minute walk away, and coming home after a swim was too easy by entering the home through the laundry where there was a large shower to wash all the sand off. Darren was an excellent host. He provided us with a sandwich press to use at the home when we only asked if one was available, and delivered batteries on day two of our stay when we noticed the Wii remotes were flat. When we got home we noticed we'd left a small item behind, and he posted it out to us without any issues. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rhyll at Lady Nelson, and will not hesitate to stay here again - what an excellent family holiday home!

Great property with Great Host

Excellent location (under 10 min to main strip in Cowes) Great facilities for everyone with a great layout for a big group with spacious bedroom and living area. Brilliant views. We'd stay here again for sure.

Easy Relaxing & Totally Comfortable

From booking the property through to check out the process was easy. Darren was a great host keeping us informed and very flexible with check in and check out times - so valuable with larger groups The house was perfect for 3 families. It was open plan but also lots of space to get some quiet time. The house was very clean and well stocked with cleaning equipment and product to help us maintain it Well equipped kitchen for groups who enjoy to cook

exceptional location

It was a windless and beautiful walk home from the local pub and from our deck the full moon shimmered on the water, we loved it. The house has everything you could want and more, I didn't have to worry about a thing, Darren was very prompt and helpful in replying. For us, Rhyll is the best spot on Philip Island, lots of wildlife and very quiet, glad to have found this house.

One-stop shop for Perfect family fun!

The property exceeded expectations! The owner was responsive and helpful through booking and check-in. Lots of activities to engage all ages on the property. A serene village atmosphere. Incredible views. Secure parking for multiple cars and boat. Ideal for our family of adult children, teen children, small grand-children - and great grandpa enjoyed sitting on the deck over-looking the family playing on the lawn and the scenic view. We will be back!

Amazing stay.

We were a group of 10 and had a fabulous time staying at Lady Nelson Retreat. It was big enough for everyone to enjoy their own space or hang out together. In fact, we did not have enough time to explore the whole place. The kitchen was fantastic. The amenities and entertainment provided were plentiful. Darren was fantastic and always prompt and helpful with our requests. In fact, he even had the fireplace going before our arrival which was a lovely gesture. The location was also fantastic, The beach was literally in front of the house. Would definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic House in a Great Location

Everything is available at this property. Even with 13 people staying, there was still so much room, and it did not feel cramped. The house is huge and very comfortable. It also has a fantastic garden.

Very nice getaway location

Very spacious house, beautiful views, nice furnishing in living areas. Just one note: third bathroom downstairs is located in the laundry and while the toilet has a door, the shower is right there in the middle of the laundry which leads to backyard and bbq. We had some 'near misses' with someone barging in. There are also no wash basin there, just laundry sink. This is only and issue if you have big party though. Overall our stay was outstanding - comfortable and relaxing.

OASIS IN THE DESERT

Arriving at the property we were all impressed with the magnitude of the house. Accessing the house was very easy and then exploring the expanse filled us all with smiles and sounds of "look at this!". We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every one of them. The bed in my room was fantastic and I slept soundly every night. If you want to stay somewhere with a sophisticated feel and have everything you could want (dvd's, playstation, wii, etc) then this is your house. It could easily accommodate 3 families with plenty of space and outside areas to keep active souls busy. We stayed for the MotoGP and my friends want to stay here again next time we come. So, thank you Darren for sharing your beautiful house with us..

Great family friendly large house

Great family friendly holiday house, three families with 12 people enjoyed the spacious house, lots of outside grass to play & walking distance to many parks & tracks. With a table tennis play room, large spa bath, two dining areas and huge sitting area, we highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

Awesome Place to stay

We stayed here over Easter and it was fantastic. There was plenty of space for the 4 Adults and 5 Children. The beds were comfortable and warm and plenty of space in the garden to play cricket and kick a football.
