We had a very good time everything was ok, we thought that overall it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked especially in the bathrooms and all round the taps , the view was good and the location was great, Michael was prompt in sorting the air conditioning controls and the new lock for the back door.
Stayed two weeks. Never tired of view. Host was responsive and helpful. Apartment is as advertised, spacious and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again
The property was incredibly well equipped, including loungers you could take to the beach. It felt so much like a home! The balcony was a great place to sit and watch the sea. Lovely Speitstown is only a five minute walk away. The only slight downside is that when people come and go from the flats above you do hear them from the bedroom but we wouldn't have missed the chance of staying there for the world! Wonderful!
There was a dog barking every night, but the gig issue was the washer/dryer broke down and we were without laundry facilities or towels for more than 24 hours. Full credit to the owner, he replaced the washer as soon as he could but the dryer was going to take more work. However, whilst the washing machine was being replaced a full Marks and Spencer Christmas cake disappeared. When we noticed that it was missing, I called the owner to inform him, which he needed to be aware of due to him returning the following day, with his workmen. The cake is not the issue here, we had expensive designer bags, clothing and electronics and did not want to risk anything else going missing.The response from the property owner was bizarre! He flew into a rage and accused us of trying to ruin his reputation, he ranted foul abuse and threatened us with immigration, police and his attorney and told us to leave the property, the following morning by 12pm or face the consequences. We received a WhatsApp assurance from him that a refund would be processed straight way on departure. We had to leave our accommodation after being evicted in Christmas week at considerable extra cost. The refund never materialised and he even deleted the messages from WhatsApp. He did not cancel the reservation, to generate the refund. Luckily, we photographed all of his messages prior to deletion and claimed a successful Consumer Credit Act s75 refund from him. Book this at your own risk but take head of the above.

Location was perfect, close to the beach and walking distance to stores and food vendors. Although because of the low season it was a little too quiet. We had some difficulties checking in with all the locks and codes but made us feel safe.The apt had everything we needed although we encountered quite a bit if insects, mosquitoes, cockroaches and sugar ants on all counters. My recommendation are to bring alot of insect repellent! Excellent for families. If you’re single go to the south coast!
