Perfect for two, your StayCentral corporate apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, huge living and dining area, a king bedroom, an office area with a desk, a balcony, a bathroom with a bath-shower, and its own laundry facilities. The balcony and bedroom overlook Port Phillip Bay just down the road, as well as the street and cafes below. The huge mirror wall even gives you a bay view from every part of the apartment.
The balcony door and bedroom window allow fresh air into the apartment when you want it.

WHATS IN PORT MELBOURNE?
It is an eight minute walk from the #109 Port Melbourne Box Hill tram at the 128-Graham St/Light Rail (Port Melbourne) stop. Nearby parks include Lagoon Reserve, Hester Reserve and Crichton Reserve.
On Bay Street there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, everyday shops, great pubs and supermarket on your doorstep. Nearby, the never-ending walking and bike paths wrap around Port Phillip Bay and its continuous beaches. To the right you will find Station Pier and several great seaside restaurants and hotels, and Beacon Cove. To the left you will find some of the most stunning seaside homes, both historic and trendy, along the walk to St Kilda Point.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT The bus stop is on your doorstep. One tram stop is five minutes walk down Graham St and across the little park to the Graham St stop. It is also only an eight minute walk to the 109 Port Melbourne Box Hill tram at the 128-Graham St/Light Rail (Port Melbourne) stop.

GETTING THERE
From Melbourne Tullamarine Airport: 17 mins by TAXI or UBER.
SKY BUS to SOUTHERN CROSS TRAIN STATION in the city. Then take Tram No. 109 at the end of Collins St at the bottom end of the station. Get off at Graham St. Cross the small park, keeping the Graham St, overhead bridge on your right. Cross under the bridge, and swing left, walking up the other side of Graham St, towards the traffic lights. Turn right on to Bay St, and 57 Bay St is about 80m from the lights on the Rouse St intersection.

FROM THE OWNER:I loved living in this apartment in this great location. It is so spacious and light-filled with great views over the bay and the Westgate Bridge (especially at night), and the downstairs gym and pool are so handy. They just don't make one-bedroom apartments this big any more. You are in the middle of a terrific cafe precinct where it is so easy to make new friends, and the beach and the shops are literally two minutes walk away.

PET FRIENDLY Yes we accept pets subject to our pet stay conditions (see our terms). There are many leash free parks in the area and the nearest is Lagoon Reserve. There is also a dog beach at the end of Bay Street.
Pets must be declared on the booking and a pet stay fee of $135 (base rate) plus $5 per night per pet will be applied.

Great location, close to shops & the beach. Walk to DFO & South Melbourne markets. Even a shopping trolley in the apartment.

I have owned two other service businesses since 1998. I started StayCentral with one apartment in 2005, and now manage multiple properties in many different locations in inner Melbourne.

Like many of my guests, I love to travel to overseas places like the Mulu Caves in Borneo, ancient cities, Antarctica & Alaska, Torres del Paine, and amazing places like Pha Long in Vietnam, Jaisalmer in India, Tozeur in Tunisia & La Paz in Bolivia. I also love short domestic trips for weekends away. It means I get to be on the other side of the counter, and experience tips on how others look after their guests.

(My manager, Max, has also travelled from afar to be here by the way, and he can also speak with our guests in Russian and Ukranian).

I even worked as a part-time tourist guide in Melbourne for a couple of years, and really enjoyed the interactions with the tourists off the huge cruise liners that appear in Melbourne each spring and summer. I have tried to extend this experience into my accommodation business here at home, where I really love assisting people with their stays. I do love living in Melbourne. It enjoys a unique place in Australia. It is often described as the cultural, business, shopping and sporting capital of the country. The restaurants and cafes in Melbourne are amongst the best in the world. I love living in an urban village amongst these, and all the other everyday shops; and jumping on a tram and avoiding the hassles of traffic. It is a city of great opportunity, experiences, events and lifestyle that can be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike; and I really enjoy facilitating our guests' stays here.

I do hope I have the opportunity to help you get to know Melbourne and grow to love it as I have.
