Whilts this modest cottage boasts tranquil veiws across the bay. It is a great place to reconnect with family and friends .

Enjoy the magnificent views across the bay and gaze across the horizon as the ships pass by.

Conveniently located directly across the road awaits the clear waters of St Leonards' foreshore. All at your fingertips you can either launch your boat, drop in a line off the pier, stroll along the beach or watch your children play jn the playground as the sun goes down.

This well loved cosy cottage caters for many as it sleeps 10 in the house, it also comprises a self contained unit sleeping 5 and a games room for the young at heart.

It has air-conditioning/heating, a coonara for those who enjoy a wine and a book, and is fully equipped with all that you need to have a relaxing holiday. Just come in unpack and unwind.

The main bedroom, has a queen size bed suite which overlooks the foreshore. The 2nd has a queen bed, whilst the 3rd & 4th bedrooms have a combination of a double size bunk bed.

The cottage house caters for an ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom and a bathroom / toilet to the general family area while the self contained unit has its own bathroom / toilet area.

Between the house and the self contained unit the cottage easily caters for 2 families or simply one large family.

Within easy walking distance only minutes away is the local hotel, cafes, shopping strip and the local IGA.

Within a 20 minute drive you can discover the Bellarine wineries, berry farms and local produce, the Bellarine Peninsula, and a trip to Queenscliff could easily find you in Sorrento.

Best beach stay
This is our 4th time staying at Bluff Cottage and we can’t fault it. The location is perfect, right across from the beach and less than a minute walk to the shopping strip. It is a great clean house, plenty of beds. Big back yard and front yard with a gate. (Perfect so the little ones can play but not ran away)It’s becoming our yearly tradition to go and we have so many great memories here. We even had an early check in without requesting this. Thanks for letting us stay again Lynette! We will be back again!

Lynette was a great host and the property perfect for us. The view ti the ocean was gorgeous and even with winter weather keeping us inside the fireplace was delightful. Lynette was a great host, easy to communicate with, and even put out thoughtful touches based on things we’d said. Would absolutely stay again!

Here's a more fun and lively version of your review: We just wrapped up our second girls' weekend at Bluff, and let’s just say, it won’t be our last! This place nails the location—steps from the beach and a quick stroll to the shops. But the real magic is in the house itself—beautifully set up, super cozy, and perfect for our getaway. Can’t recommend this spot enough! Already counting down to next year!

A great family gathering house
This was our second stay at The Bluff Cottage, and once again it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this family friendly house ...so close to beach and shops. So many rooms to choose to sleep in.

Great family holiday house
Bluff cottage was perfect for our weekend in St Leonards for a family wedding. Plenty of room for our extended family. Kids loved the big backyard and games room. Great location across the road from the water and playground and a short walk to the pub for dinner. Homely place perfect for for young families.

As soon as I walked into Bluff Cottage, I could tell that our family of 9 would enjoy their weekend. Spacious living areas, ample,comfortable beds.The house has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.The large front deck looking out to the sea and pier was a highlight, as well as the accessibility of the beach. The hostess is lovely to communicate with. Our weekend there exceeded expectations!

Couldn't pick a better location - across the road from the beach/pier, around the corner from the shopping strip and the pub within easy walking distance. We felt 'at home' with plenty of living space and room for the extended family. The games room was a winner. A great weekend was had by all.

Family Holiday
We had a lovely time at “Bluff Cottage”. There was Plenty of room for the kids to play in the huge back yard. It was close to the beach and playground, shops around the corner, what more could you ask for. All the adults loved it too. The pool table and table tennis table were great fun. The cottage was comfortable, with cosy beds and couches and lots of space for everyone. We loved it 😀

Amazing getaway
We had the most beautiful couple of nights away. The house is in the perfect location, beach right across. Great comfy furniture on the deck, with fairy lights at night which added a beautiful extra touch. Everyone mentioned they had great sleeps and comfy beds. Big yard for the kids to run around in. Very easy communication with Lynette too. Great memories made and we are already talking about coming back again next summer! Thank you very much.

Great location and accommodates many people.
The property is beautifully situated directly opposite the beach and close to the local shops, pub, playground and pier. My only complaint is that the standard of cleanliness of the property was a disappointment, given the cost of rental. The floors were not clean, with dust balls and hair coating our child’s toys, when she was playing on it. Also the games room was covered in dust. I was surprised that the ping pong table had not been wiped down and was thick with dust. Dust mite allergies had us all sneezing. Overall though, we did have a wonderful time away and would definitely recommend Bluff Cottage.

Excellent Accommodation & Location
A group of 9 elderly ladies enjoyed a relaxing few days at Bluff Cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable with very warm doonas & rugs. All the living areas were great for a large group, to enjoy a social getaway together. The Coonara with the supplied wood, kept us all cosy on a cold & wet weekend. However, we did strike some disappointments. There was no warning that the oven in the house didn't work. A “Not Working” sign on the oven door would have been good, before we went to the supermarket. We had purchased frozen party pies & sausage rolls to heat up, to eat while watching all of the Coronation broadcast. We then tried the oven in the unit but discovered it was way too dirty, with inches of fat all over the bottom of the oven. Microwaved sausage rolls are not wonderful, but we had to eat. We also discovered a pair of used jocks in one of the bedside tables. One more towel each would have also been greatly appreciated. After reading all the expectations of leaving the house & unit clean & tidy, we wiped all surfaces down & were quite shocked to find mice droppings & spider webs behind the toaster, on the kitchen bench in the unit. The accommodation hadn’t had a proper clean before we arrived.

Wonderful house for family gathering
Amazing location. We had a wonderful, but too short, stay in this house. The rear unit was amazing, with a double bed in one room, and two single bunks in the other, and had a large lounge are, kitchen and dining, and a beautiful bathroom. This alone housed 1 family of 4 with ease. The main house easily catered for the other family members and friends, and had an awesome large front lounge room with the biggest TV I’ve seen (great for the footy!), and a fireplace that we lit which kept it nice and cosy. The front deck has amazing views across the bay, with awesome sunrises, and the walking paths across the road for our morning walks. Also plenty of off street parking to accomodate our 5 cars. Lynette (host) provided clear check in instructions and answered our questions promptly about bedrooms and sheets. We didn’t use the huge double garage out the back with games and couches, but perhaps another time 👍. Some things worth being aware of. Mattresses in back unit could do with an upgrade, and we were very nervous about neighbors complaining of noise. House has such wonderful outdoor areas, and entertaining areas for kids (games room) but the caution in the Ad about noise and neighbors complaining meant we stayed indoors most of the time and didn’t actually use the games room. While we didn’t have a party as such, with loud music, we didn’t want to risk getting any fines from having elevated group conversations outside.
