It’s a perfect getaway all year round!

The space

Alwyn: In its original English meaning, the name means “Wise Friend” and the old Teutonic meaning is “Loved By All”. We hope you do love your stay.

From the moment your slide open the gate you will feel like you are home. Greeted by large gum trees and an open garden.
Once parked take a stroll across the lawn and walk up to the side of the home past the outdoor shower to enter.
Passing thought the mudroom and fully appointed laundry you will enter the open kitchen and dining area that leads on to the main living space. Enjoy cozy nights in during winter in front of the Coonara fireplace, and in summer open the large French doors to dine alfresco, enjoy a BBQ, laze on the deck and enjoy meals around a large teak table which seats up to 10 people. The main living space also has reverse cycled climate control.

We have named each of the sleeping spaces.

Coastal Room – your master bedroom and a personal retreat, warm wheaten palette this room has a queen size bed, wardrobe, reading space, has its own private decking, with a large floor to ceiling windows to capture the morning sun. It has a reverse cycled climate control system also.

Cactus Room – is another couple space, where we have used sage green to provide a serene space that your guests will enjoy. It has a queen size bed and wardrobe. It also has its own decking to take in the afternoon sun.

Ocean Room – can host up to three people with a triple bunk bed (single upper and double below), where we have used cooler blue tones, the room doesn’t have access to the outdoors but has a large floor to ceiling window to look out over the garden.

The bathroom is perfectly appointed and offers a large bath and shower.

Alwyn retreat in addition to the large alfresco decking off the living room has a outdoor fireplace, where you can light a fire, enjoy a wine and hear the back beach crash into the evening
