This stunning south side condo is located on a hillside overlooking the bay and downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. It has some of the most glorious views in the world, along with unforgettable sunsets, each more lovely than the last.

Shopping and beaches are only a short walk away . Some of Vallarta's finest restaurants such as La Palapa, Vista Grill, El Dorado, and DiVinos tapas restaurant over the famous

Dante's Art Gallery, are a 5 to 15 minute walk from the condo.

Even though we are close to almost "EVERYTHING" we're also a place for those who want to get away from the "hotel Zone" kind of vacation. Located in a mixed Mexican/non Mexican neighborhood where traditional families live their day to day lives; it's the "real" Mexico. Often you will hear children playing in the street below. You may even hear roosters crowing in the distance.

About half of the condos are owner occupied most of the year. You'll find these owners usually happy to answer questions and help with directions. For your security we have a keyed entry and elevator service starting on the first floor.

Condo 3A has 2 bedrooms with a/c and two full baths. The master bathroom has a jetted tub and a separate walk-in shower as well as a private toilet and bidet area. Both of the bedrooms open onto large patios; the main patio has a large gas grill and a private plunge pool. A great place for cooling down after a long walk on the beach!

The condo's "open living" area has a spacious lounge area with 2 large sofas and a lounge chair. A stunning marble table that will seat 8 guests is really the STAR in this lovely dinning area. A beautiful and fully equipped custom designed kitchen has everything you need to create the perfect tropical lunch or dinner. Plus there's a private laundry with new front loading washer and dryer.

The palm trees dancing in the breeze, the sunsets that you'll never forget, and the fabulous ocean views are all there. We're only missing YOU.

Central location in an authentic Mexican neighborhood

Was in the heart of puerto Vallarta. Locals celebrating Xmas was lovely to see Condo was lovely. Pool was great. Beds we're comfortable Only downside was the tub in the master wouldn't stay plugged . Also the barn door's separating the toilets from the rest of the bathroom were sooooo loud and annoying. But besides those 2 things everything was amazing

Everything we could have wished for, and more!

Just wow! Authentic Mexico! If you like resort vacations then do that, but, if you want stellar, very comfortable (the beds are great), secure and friendly accommodations with easy access to all of the action, the beach, scores of restaurants and just a couple blocks away from a world famous street (Basilio Badillo) in the heart of town, this condo captures it all! You are away from the airport, the marina, the hotel zone, the shopping district and the throngs of tourists. It is an easy 5 minute walk downhill to downtown to everything! Multitudes of restaurants, markets, the beach, the Malecon, activities, excursions and a cheap 50 peso cab ride up the hill every night (or walk it!) Don't forget to take your coffee to the back porch to enjoy the morning sun! Great wifi connection/electronic friendly. This is a very clean and fully equipped condo. And, there is a pool in the living room! It is an open concept design with a deep, relaxing, large dipping pool right in the living area, cool by day and a heater to warm it up for a night dip with the music and sounds of Mexico all around you. To be clear, this is an authentic, traditional neighborhood with the authentic, traditional, sights, sounds and atmosphere of a Mexican town. If you're looking for a holiday in a luxurious retreat close to everything, safe and secure then you will enjoy and always remember this vacation home. The roosters do roost and crow! It is on an active corner in the middle of town and you will enjoy a "day in the life" experience with the locals. Our 10 yr old grandson has a much broader respect and perspective of Mexico from our experience staying here than he would have if we had just stayed at another hotel/resort. If you don't expect the resort and want an amazing, spacious and luxurious condo with great views, then you will have an awesome experience here! We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you for inviting us to rent your home to help create the memories we will have with us for our lifetime!

Will not return to this loud open-air condo

Views are not updated on VRBO listing. A new high rise building has obscured the views of the bay and is not reflected on the listing. There is second high rise building being constructed to the left of the other building and there is a lot of construction noise from 8am to 6pm six days per week currently. Extremely noisy on the weekends and holidays from the front street. Loud music going from 6pm to 1am and beyond on the weekend we arrived. The small convenience store directly across the street and the street food prep directly below the condo have stereo blasters that is the hub of this neighbourhood. Impossible to sleep without ear plugs. The neighbourhood is very noisy with locals from 9am in the morning to around 12 midnight every night with lots of dogs barking, roosters bellowing, and locals yelling and orating loudly all day. The issue with this condo is the open air design. There is no way to close off the outside noise and you are exposed to constant sounds from the neighbourhood. Condo building is on a steep hill on Jacarandas Street. A moderate very steep walk downhill to the shopping and restaurants. A difficult walk back up the hill when you are carrying supplies. We used UBER and local taxi service. No instructions were given on the dipping pool. The owner did turn up the heat prior to our arrival and this was appreciated. The pool water dropped quickly after a few days. We had to find the hose and fill the pool as the pump motor was running dry and was super loud. We noticed very few bugs however we did get a few mosquito stings over our stay here inside the condo. A few days in, a man knocked on our front door and said he needed access inside to water the plants. We were not told this would happen by the owner previously. We reluctantly allowed the man in to water the plants. Two gigantic TV’s in both bedrooms but we did not use them. No TV in the main living areas. The Master bedroom bedding linens were stale and musty upon arrival. We had to wash all the bed linens and blankets before use. The Master bedroom king size bed has a deep soft pillow top on top. It is very soft, but we both slept comfortably. Not for sleepers that prefer firm to medium mattresses. The AC in the Master bedroom worked well and we basically had to turn it on overnight on low fan to drown out the street music and noise. The second bedroom is basically a “cave” with no natural daylight. The constant loud noise detracted from our personal enjoyment.

This property was much more than we expected. The pictures don't really do it justice! It was absolutely beautiful. The open air design with a beautiful relaxing pool right there on the balcony overlooking the neighborhood and beautiful views of the bay. All the tenants and management were always friendly and helpful. This condo gets you out of the tourist traffic yet still only a 10-15 minute walk right into the heart of old town. The dining and entertainment in this part of PV will not disappoint. You'll experience first hand community of the locals. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and would not hesitate to return!

Luxury condo in traditional neighborhood

This place is really nice. We got it and were really impressed by the fact that it breathes, it is totally open on the outside, there is a nice breeze and a pool in the middle of it all. Full equiped kitchen with everything that you need. We cooked there several times, and it is the kind of place you want to hang out in, especially at sunset. Keep in mind that it is a very lively neighbourhood, so do expect some noise (people hanging out, roosters, etc.). If you're a light sleeper, do bring earplugs. I would not hesitate to rent this place again.

loved this condo!

We loved this condo! We are not Hotel Row people so instead of being in a luxury time share that looked and felt like you were in the heartland of the US, we were in a luxury condo in Mexico. Yes, there is vibrant noise in the neighborhood but it added to the experience, was not intrusive and could be almost silenced by closing the bedroom door. We ate meals and played cards on the wonderful patio overlooking the sea, dipped in the amazing dipping pool in the living room and LOVED the open air living space. We saw no evidence of drug dealing anywhere and I walked all over the central district at various times of the day and evening and always felt safe. This condo is in the middle of the central district with lots of wonderful restaurants and a short walk to the beach where for the price of a drink, you can use their lawn chairs ALL DAY! If you want a taste of Mexico in a safe and beautiful condo, book it now!

If you're deaf (profoundly deaf), you may like it here

Unfortunately, this condo has a fatal flaw. It is located on an incredibly noisy corner. As in: constant traffic, 2 nearby construction sites, neighbors who party outside until 10:30 pm every night, squawking children out till same time each night, peaceful but noisy drug dealers on corner below, roosters shrieking when everything else finally quiets down. The pool pump is programmed to hum loudly every morning for 2 irksome hours while you're eating breakfast at the table nearby. Added to this is the design mistake of the century: no windows in main living area! Unbelievably, an open-air floor plan was chosen for this condo on a noisy corner in a noisy country. Every sound from the surrounding blocks streams in to assault the ears. As well as mosquitoes. Zika, anyone? Dengue, perhaps? The bedrooms do have windows to close, which helps a bit. You still need earplugs and/or white noise from your phone (loudest setting) to make it thru the night. So...if you're still reading: To be fair, the condo is pretty, and reasonably well-equipped. The beds are comfy (I slept in the tiny back guest room because it was quieter than the master bedroom). The location, aside from the noise problem, is convenient to town. Unfortunately, the positive attributes were simply not nearly enough to offset the ever-present noise, and it really diminished the quality of our vacation. We left 2 WEEKS EARLY. I would never, ever stay in this building again....unless I someday become deaf. I do think I might like it then. Resubmit your review > Unfortunately, this condo has a fatal flaw.
