Picture this, it’s 7 am- you walk out to the dock with a coffee in one hand and your sketch book in the other. You spend the morning quietly sketching the beautiful scenery. You hear the sound of footsteps and turn to see your fiancé has come to join you on the dock. He has brought you a mimosa. Your friends begin to wake up, one by one they join you down by the lake- one has cooked breakfast for you. As the day continues the lake begins to rustle to life. Music and laughter fills the air. You spend the day swimming and playing in the sun. At night, you gather by the fire- sharing stories and smiles. When you retreat back to the house, a movie is playing, you all get comfy and one by one drift off to sleep.
Thank you for letting me and my friends experience the beauty of your home, it was a truly breathtaking weekend.
we had a wonderful time at this property and would recommend to others. The outside of the property and the standing fans could have been cleaner and the large ceiling fan in the LR was broken.
Master bedroom and beds in the basement were really comfortable -- the twin beds in the loft area really need to be replaced. They are not comfortable at all and hard to sleep on
all else was great - it is a perfect location and we had a great time.
The overall location near Wolfeboro and on the lake was great. View of the water was lovely. Dock was great. The house was fine but some details were lacking. The back porch was very dirty when we arrived, took an hour to clean it up. The beds are very soft. The house instructions need to be updated. The ice maker did not work. No large dining table inside (just small round table for 4) so meals needed to be eaten outside at picnic table which was fine but not when it was raining.
Excellent trip beautiful spot on winni quiet cove.
Second year we stayed here very clean and comfortable place to stay for our fishing trip Great dock nice quiet Cove minutes from great fishing spot. Looking forward to going back again next year.
The home was beautiful well appointed. Situated on a cove off the big lake. Very quiet. The water was to high to use the beach for the toddlers. Down the street was a very nice public beach. The kids had a blast. They loved the fire pit for s’mores. A great home for a family vacation
Thank you
My mom, sister, and I were lucky enough to visit for a week during peak foliage. The Lakes area is beautiful but the views from the house with the reflections on the water are stunning! Everything you need is here and the surrounding area has a lot to do even off season. We had the most lovely time together. Thank you!
The location of this house is beautiful and is a very comfortable home especially for a family.
The upstairs loft has a 3/4 bath but a little open for another couple and the downstairs bedroom only has a 1/2 bath. The home is well cared for
And updated.
The house was very nice with a great waterfront site and wonderful dockage. Just be prepared that if you have guests staying in the downstairs bedroom, there is only a powder room… which made it a little awkward. Other than that, it was centrally located and the road was filled with beautiful homes.
The property was beautiful including the home and location! The property manager, Jodi was very helpful and all the directions/rules were very easy to follow. We are ready to rebook for next summer!
Our second stay here and we love the lake. Beautiful scenery and great places to see in wolfboro. Jodi had great communication with us and it was a pleasure once again. Thanks and see you again soon!
The property was clean and beautiful. Great location on the lake - easy to rent a pontoon boat and tie it to the dock. The only issue we had was with the grill, which wasn’t working. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.
Fabulous location on Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro! We loved the deck and the dock. The slide was a big hit, even if the water was still cold. We enjoyed the fire pit, sunrise and sunset by the lake, and relaxing in the great room. It was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We’d loved to visit again.
This is the perfect property for family and friends (sleeps us to 6 comfortably), right on the lakefront and in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end. Fireplace and fire pit on site (check with property owner first), private dock. Wraparound deck overlooking the lake to have your coffee and watch for the loons! Close to town center for dining and shopping. This a property not to be missed!
You really can’t beat this spot on a quiet stretch of Lake Winnipesaukee. The living room has a beautiful view and comfy couches for relaxing, reading, and catching up with your people. Lots of bathroom and bedroom space so y’all can spread out. We loved it and might come back in the summer to go off that awesome slide!

This beautiful property was one of the very first owned in the area. My mom was born in 1942 and grew up enjoying Lake Winnipesaukee her entire life. Her father and his father-in-law built the original "camp" back in the mid to late 30's. When school was out for the summer, my mom and my Grandparents would pack up and leave Boston to head to Wolfeboro. When I was born, we traveled from Ohio to NH every summer to visit. The beauty and peacefulness brought me to NH for college where I spent my summers at "the camp" working as a lifeguard at Brewster Beach. My siblings love the area as much as I do and actually, my brother got married on the property back in 2009. The local people are welcoming and exude an extreme love for home and all of the secrets the area holds. My grandfather always called it "God's Country" and we are truly blessed to be able to enjoy a piece of it every time we visit!
Why they chose this property
My great-grandparents found this piece of property back in the early 1900's. When my grandmother and grandfather were married, they took over the property and built a gorgeous little cottage which later became known as "the camp" to my mom and all of the grandchildren. I have been in love with this location my entire life. To this day, our first visit to town includes a trip to the Yum Yum Shop for homemade goodies and a delicious ice cream at Bailey's Bubble. When my grandfather passed away, my mom moved up to "the camp" from Ohio. She decided to do an overhaul and tore the old house down and replaced it with the beautiful white and blue A-frame cottage it is today. My mom had always planned to move in to the house once she reached retirement age but, unfortunately, her time was cut very short when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease shortly after she arrived. She peacefully passed away May of 2021. While we still visit the house quite frequently, we have all decided that my mom would want as many people to share in the love of this property just as she did. We hope others can enjoy the peaceful, breathtaking views and experience all that the home and "The Oldest Summer Resort in America" have to offer. Memories that will last a lifetime!
What makes this property unique
From the smell of fresh pine trees and clean air, to the crystal clear waters that you can many times spot a small mouth bass swimming below, there really is nothing like it. Fill your days with water activities and nature hikes or just sit back, relax, and catch up on a good book while sitting on the dock, soaking up some sun. We truly hope those who are able to appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the home will enjoy it as much as we do.
