Amaroo beachside holiday lodge is nestled in the exclusive Tuckeroo gated beachside estate.

Short walk along a beach track leads you onto the famous Tallows Beach with great surfing, fishing, swimming and walks. From the beach you have views to Byron bay lighthouse to your left and Broken Head Nature reserve to the right.

The busy suffolk park bakery is just a 5 minute walk away great for coffee and breakfast.The village also has a supermarket, post office, chemist, several resturants and pub.

Just a 5 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay or maybe take a bicycle into town. Bus service also leaves Suffolk Park for surrounding areas.

The accomodation comprises of a parking space for one car leading to a tropical private courtyard, bbq and entrance to downstairs bathroom. Stairs to first floor living space with sofa, air conditioning, TV, kitchen, microwave, with east facing balcony. Bedroom with either x 2 kingsize single beds or king size bed, TV, west facing balcony.

Features of this newly renovated home make for a relaxing stay. You can hear the waves and listen to the birds

The double storey accommodation comprises of a car parking space leading to a tropical private covered courtyard with bbq.

There is also a laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer and entrance to a down stairs bathroom comprising of shower washbasin and toilet.
Upstairs to the 1st floor living space with sofa bed., ceiling fan, airconditioning, TV with a east facing balcony.

The kitchen area has fridge, microwave, oven and cook top. Filtered water
The ceilings are vaulted with window shutters and timber floor.

Wireless Internet provided

The bedroom has lovely king bed (can be made into 2 king singles, please request this option).

The bedroom has fresh linen, towels supplied and TV with a west facing balcony and ceiling fan.

This property has shared driveway access with onsite owners but has own car parking space and offers total privacy.

Great location away from the hustle & bustle

Amaroo was the perfect beachside accommodation for our week in Byron Bay. The villa had everything you could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable. Being able to hear the waves at night was a big tick! The one very small negative was that the lounge seating was quite uncomfortable. We would definitely stay at Amaroo again. Thank you Lorna.

Perfect Location

One minute walk to my most favourite beach. Lovely accommodation, cosy, easy and everything you need. Thoughtful extras like hats, beach bags, beach things - brilliant Lorna was a pleasure to deal with. Love it!

We loved our 5 night stay at Lorna's Amaroo Beachside Retreat Literally right on Suffolk Park Beach and within easy driving distance to Byron, Lennox and Bangalow The beautifully appointed double story living area featured everything you could possibly want for a relaxing beach getaway We will certainly be back

Perfect!

We loved the location. The beach path right out front and a short walk to really great local restaurants made things so easy and the unit itself was super darling. The hosts thought of ever details to make it so cozy and pretty!

Over Priced

For the money could have stayed in town even a bit cheaper. Bed was like sleeping in a hammock. Not even a coffee pod machine. Bathroom and only toilet were down stairs from the only bedroom up stairs. No a/c in the bedroom and the ceiling fan noisy clearly needed maintenance. Well over priced for its 6.8kms from town you will need a car !!!!

Do yourself a favour and stay here

The property has everything you need and more. Lorna and David are great hosts. The location and property is just perfect and we continue to return 2-3 times a year and always choose to stay at Lorna and David’s property.

Best place to stay in Byron/Suffolk

I have lost count how many times my partner and I have stayed at Lorna and David’s place. We love staying here so much it feels like our second home. You will not find a nicer place to stay in Byron/Suffolk this close to the beach and all amenities you need. With superb hospitality and peacefulness it really has that retreat feel. We will be back soon thank you Lorna and David for being the most amazing hosts!

Location of the property is just perfect! We loved it! So close to the beach!

Didn’t really get a chance to get to know our hosts because of COVID, however Lorna was very helpful throughout the whole process. We loved our stay at Amaroo!

The best homestay ever.

Booked a stay with my husband and we both LOVED the place. Spotless, has everything you need and very secure. The location is superb and only a very little walk to Tallow Beach - which became an advantage as the rain was on and off during our stay. As soon as the sun was up, a quick swim was easy to squeeze in. Close to Suffolk bakery and shops too. Would love to come back here. Easily the best homestay ever!

A beach holiday

Well appointed, nicely decorated, in a great location close to the beach,. Thank you for the little extras eg beach towels, boogie board as well as nice pantry items, Byron Bay produce. Perfect for a couple , the only disadvantage was a bathroom downstairs from the bedroom. A lovely place to relax!

Getaway

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Just a short stroll to the beach and just down the road from Suffolk Park shops that have everything you need. The owners are great in providing everything you need at this place. Will definitely recommend to friends/family looking for a relaxing getaway.
