Comfortable and Feels Like Home

This charming, peaceful home is situated on 10 scenic acres located 4 miles from the heart of Cooperstown. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms comfortably accommodate up to SIX (6) guests only.

The master bedroom is located on the second floor and includes a king size bed, a flat screen smart TV, and beautiful views. An additional bedroom on the top floor includes a full size bed, and a third bedroom is located on the ground level with a queen size bed. There are two bathrooms - one on the main level that has a tub/shower, and one on the second floor with a stall shower.

Living room on the main level includes smart TV with cable, and DVD. The open area kitchen and dining room has vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. A cozy loft area, complete with reading nook and antique accents, overlooks the kitchen. There are hardwood floors throughout the home.

A screened-in back porch just off the dining room includes a table and chairs for outdoor eating, as well as a comfy couch for relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature and nearby creek. The front of the home has a spacious front porch with two rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee with views of majestic mountains and a picturesque "Evergreen Valley".

Our front yard is gated to allow for ONE dog only. (Pet fee is $ 250.00).

Conveniently located about 10 minutes from Dreams Park, easily accessible to Cooperstown Main Street, Farmers Museum, the Baseball Hall of Fame, Clark Sports Center, nearby Fly Creek Cider Mill, Ommegang Brewery and many other places of interest.

Additional amenities include washer/dryer, A/C, wireless high speed internet, linens and towels provided.

Lovely home, bucolic location

This was a repeat stay while we attended the Glimmerglass opera festival. The house was immaculate, and we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and a large assortment of cheeses. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a screened porch to enjoy. We plan to return next year.

Unique, Beautiful Farmhouse

Great place to relax. House is beautifully decorated with everything you would want. The owner had it fully stocked with anything and everything you would need for your stay plus more. Enjoyed the country atmosphere away from busy town. Especially loved the huge kitchen area and the back screened in porch. Thank you Gregory!

Perfect no frills house rental for small family

Very clean and very cute country ambiance. Friendly and good communication w owner/manager. Easy access. Screened in porch was lovely. Even though property is on road it is a country road and quiet. Kitchen was stocked w everything needed to feed family. Large prep areas and two sinks which I never knew would be so helpful. Mattresses excellent. Good assortment of pillows. A few improvements are typical things you’d find in an older home - doors might stick due to weather and upstairs shower needs better water pressure but there is plenty of hot water. Good linens and towels. Thank you!

Wonderful week in Cooperstown, NY

From the moment we drove up the driveway and saw the adorable farm house, we knew we'd made the right choice! There was a welcoming gift on the table and the house had everything we needed. My favorite part of the home is the kitchen and the back screened in porch. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling with old wood beams and a nice workable island. The back porch was the perfect spot for coffee in the mornings. The location is great too! You can be at Dreamspark in about 12-15 minutes and about the same to downtown. I will recommend this listing to my other baseball friends and family!!!

Peaceful, clean and close to everything!

This stay goes down as the best overall VRBO experience my family and I have had! Greg was such an accommodating, communicative, helpful and kind host; and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures! It sits on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous country views that can be enjoyed from both the front and back porches, boasts a well-appointed kitchen, offers very clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and is so close to all the attractions the Cooperstown area offers with accessibility to Downtown, the HOF, lake and nearby state parks all within 15 minutes or less. If you're looking to visit Cooperstown, you can't beat this house. Huge thanks to Greg and Tom for their hospitality and helpfulness; we'll be back!

Great HOF Induction Weekend

Great Family Vacation House - 8 min drive from Dreams Park!!

This house was perfect! We split it between us & another family for our sons Cooperstown Tourney Week. The house was the perfect amount of cozy for all of us to have our space. The screened in back patio got lots of use after those long hot baseball days! 8 min drive from Dreams Park so we were able to go back and forth between the long game gaps!

Beautiful Home

Our family was in Cooperstown for our son’s baseball tournament. This house fit our needs perfectly. It was clean and stocked with all the essentials. The location was about 10 minutes from the tournament site & downtown Cooperstown. The owner was beyond accommodating and we hope to be back soon.

Lovely Warm Welcoming Home

The house was beautiful, clean, decorated beautifully. A gift basket was waiting for us upon arrival with a nice card. We really enjoyed the large screened in back porch where we could hang out and watch the birds, and chipmunks. Our dog especially liked the porch so she could sit inside and see all going on. The beds were very comfortable. An overall wonderful experience.

A civilized retreat

This property appears to have been recently renovated in good taste. Living room has comfortable seating . Screened back porch is an asset away from road traffic. A ceiling fan would make it more comfortable in the afternoon. Recommended for responsible adults.

Relaxing and quiet getaway spot

The house was located in a quiet spot with a large fenced in front yard and porch. This was great for my dog. The back had a screened in porch which was ideal for eating meals. The house was pristine and spacious. I love watching TV at night before going to bed so I wish the electronics were a little more up to date. But I realize many come to the area to escape the noise. Close to Cooperstown but set off from the suburban feel to give you more of the rural quaintness of upstate NY.

The property was just as stated in the description. Older country home. It was very nice to site on front porch to have coffee in morning but it is close to the road so traffic is very loud during the daytime hours. Other than that all was very good, close to town - the owners are very attentive as well - checked in and made sure all was good. thanks again look forward to staying there again!!

An avid baseball fan I first visited friends in 1989. I immediately fell In love with the gorgeous countryside, quaint small village and tranquility of the area. I purchased this beautiful farmhouse in 2004 and continuously give it tender loving care.
