The apartment is part of a renovated 1940's Queenslander that was the original homestead when the area was just rolling hills filled with dairy cattle. Perched on the top of a hill the afternoon breezes are wonderful in what is now one of Brisbane's most sought after areas for real estate.
Enjoy the feel of home while on your travels by staying in our beautifully renovated 1940's Queenslanders two bed apartment.

I stayed here with my family whilst we were moving house and it was perfect for what we needed. The apartment and location was great and had everything we needed :) thanks for having us!
We really liked the local area and its proximity to things. The house was comfortable and well appointed. Great to find such a lovely dog friendly place to stay. Thank you for having us. We'd love to stay again.
The property was perfect for my needs while staying there for a month between selling and buying a new house.
Very comfortable and well appointed. Although being adjacent to a major road, the accommodation was still quite quiet, particularly in the bedrooms.
Property was spacious, clean and comfortable. Useful kitchen and the washing machine was a bonus. There was competition between us and the tenants upstairs for the only onsite parking space and the nearest on the side of the road was over 50m away. Might be due to christmas. The noise from the busy road in the morning and evening was intrusive. The dog yard was secure and we appreciated that our dog could stay.Buses stops were close, good coffee shops nearby and a dog park 20 minutes walk away.We would stay at this place again.
The property was exactly as described and met all of our needs during our stay. It was close to all of the amenities we needed, as well as conveniently placed for visiting family in Brisbane. Any queries we had were immediately answered by Kate and we couldn't have asked for better service. We will definitely stay again when we next return to Brisbane.
We stayed as a grouyp of nine for the Women's World Cup and the property was perfectly suited for that. We each had our seperate space but could eat meals together upstairs. The washing facilities were a bonus for our week long stay.
The property matched exactly with our r expectations
The property is very convenient to the city which we needed to go everyday.
It is a comfortable place and had everything we needed.
It is pet friendly and our our husky had a good time there.
Thank you Kate and Garrath!
We had a very comfortable stay at Lone Pine.
Well appointed with lovely linens. Convenient location close to transport, shops and the CBD. Secure yard for our dog. She loved being able to see us through the glass sliders allowing us to keep her outside for much of the time. We stayed in the downstairs unit and appreciated the flat access. Lone Pine has a very welcoming aesthetic. We are looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend this property.
The place was really a home away from home. Everything we needed and more, a great central spot to explore Brissy. Happy doggies and happy humans! I mostly appreciated the host's response to an unfortunate group of upstairs neighbours that had no consideration for anyone else..... Definitely nothing to do with the hosts and they were as unhappy as we were to hear about it. Would highly recommend.
The property was as we expected. It is huge actuality. We were grateful we could take our dog. The small secure yard was handy. The shower head was a bit faulty and the soap dispenser was empty in the vanity. The furniture is dated but still user friendly. Would have liked more than 1 small milk in the fridge for our 2 night stay, we would also have liked the dog rules included in the online information. But it was as expected and we had a great experience. Checking in and out was a breeze. Owner answered questions very promptly. 4 stars overall
Relaxed, comfortable and worked really well for our dog. Enoggera is a great location - not far from the city and a very pleasant, green, suburb in its own right. There could be a downside to residing in the downstairs residence as noise from upstairs (footsteps early in the morning etc) can be very loud.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
The description needs to be more accurate
If you are in a wheelchair this property will not work. You need to cross a gravel path to the door. There are step ups to get in. The lock box with the key is out of reach. The clothesline is out of reach. You have to use the toilet and shower with the door open.
The place also needs a good clean.
My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks with our dog when moving to Brisbane. The place is fantastic with everything you need and in a convenient location. Easy check in and great communication.
We had a very good experience in renting the bottom floor of this house. Although the outside had significant traffic noise, inside was perfectly comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient also.
Needed somewhere to stay for medical appointments in brisbane with our family and little foxie. Nice large open living area and large bedrooms with aircon. Even being on a main road it was fairly quiet for us country folk. Had a small choice of cds and quest account for netflix. Also a fenced small run for your pooch. Make sure to bring your own doggie stuff but like bowls.
Thanking you for a pleasant stay!
We needed temporary accommodation whilst moving house. This was our home for almost two weeks. Kate was so helpful and the property met all our needs. Highly recommended.
We came to Brisbane at a difficult time for our family and found this accommodation reduced the stress of the visit considerably. Kate was incredibly understanding of our situation and was helpful and flexible throughout. The property was also well set up for our dog and there was a great off-lead area near the Ashgrove skate park which our poodle really enjoyed visiting.

We bought the house in 2005 and lived here pre-renovation. When we found we were having twins we moved out while the renovation was done, returning 2 years later to live in the apartment upstairs, letting out this apartment downstairs to short term guests. We have had families, pets and singletons stay with us, and looked after kids while their parents welcomed a new baby and treated dogs as our own while owners were out. In 2015 we built the house behind this one and lived there for a couple of years before selling and moving to an apartment (it was just too big!). We love the location and really enjoyed our visitors. We welcome you to stay at Lone Pine Retreat and we are still living close by if there's anything you need.
