Summary:
Maisonnets invites you to enjoy this 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment featuring a separate study, eat-in kitchen, and heating. Located on the first floor of a 1930’s period apartment building in popular Prahran, with easy access to the shopping and food hubs of both Chapel and High Streets, St Kilda Beach, and Melbourne’s CBD.
The Space:
This light-filled 1 bedroom apartment has been beautifully refurbished with polished timber floors. Modern touches perfectly complement the original Art Deco features of high ceilings, decorative cornices and picture rails.
A welcoming entrance hall leads to a spacious living room with a smart flatscreen TV, an electric heater, block-out blinds behind sheer curtains and a comfy lounge suite that converts to a double bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity of the apartment to 4 people, if needed. Further down the hall is the fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a 4-burner gas cook-top, oven, microwave, Fisher & Paykel refrigerator and period off-white ‘subway’ tiling.
A generously sized bedroom enjoys an abundance of light from a large picture window. Block-out blinds and a ceiling fan provide extra comfort, with plenty of wardrobe space for extended stays. The bedroom leads to a separate study area with a door that can be closed for privacy.
The completely renovated bathroom has a bathtub and shower combined with a frameless glass screen. It’s also home to a washing machine and separate dryer.
