Home away from home

This was the prefect location as well as the house was very accommodating. She had everything that you would have at your own home. Pots, cups, games for the kids, bar soap and body wash, shampoo and conditioner, very spacious, the perfect view. Anytime you needed her she answered. I would most definitely recommend this place. The only bad this was the dog hair was everywhere and also in the bed. Other than that the perfect location.

Christmas in the Mountains

We had a group of 12, plenty of room to spread out, big hot tub that we used after being out in the snow each day, fully stocked with everything you could need to cook. We loved out time. PS.. the Pictures really don't do justice to how nice this home is.

Great ski accommodations for large family

This house was once again perfect for my 10 family members. We enjoyed the large kitchen and dining areas, plus the hot tub. The view is fantastic! Additionally our grandkids enjoyed sledding and making snow angels in the meadow out back that is easily accessible. Also, the location (close to highway 40) provides quick access to the various restaurants in Tabernash, Winter Park, Devil's Thumb Resort, and Pole Creek Golf Club (Bistro 28). This is our 2nd time to rent this fine house. If we return to this area to ski next year, we will definitely try to rent this house again. Thanks for the hospitality, Ann!!!

Excellent vacation home

We were well pleased upon arrival as the house was in a very nice neighborhood in Tabernash just under 15 minutes from Winterpark. The home itself was even better than depicted in the online pictures. It was beautiful, well maintained very large and roomy and had multiple relax areas. One of our favorite rooms was a private living area offset from kitchen great room. The owners had a Christmas tree set up there, large sectional sofa, wood stove fireplace, etc. We enjoyed a very special Christmas morning in that room as well as tv and game nights. We also enjoyed the sunroom with fireplace in the great area off the kitchen. There are picturesque views from every direction of the house especially out back. A lot of the family enjoyed the hot tub after skiing and enjoyed many meals at the large dining table. The full, well equipped kitchen had tons of counter space and there were so many extra supplies too many to name. It has five bedrooms with two of them being master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, four full bathrooms total....plenty of room for a large group. We were all adults, but they had the cutest little extra sleep room off one of the jack and jill rooms. I can see two families with kids really enjoying this space. Another added bonus was the heated two car garage....so convenient in loading/unloading car. Everything was great and I could continue, the main thing is it felt like home and we all loved it! The host was very accommodating with all our questions/concerns.

Perfect for a large family that likes to ski !

Ann, Your home was fantastic for my entire family (6 adults & 3 grandchildren ages 13, 5 & 2). The floor plan and space were ideal. The 2 bunk bed rooms were perfect because the 5 & 2 year olds were able to sleep in separate rooms and not be disturbed at bedtime. My teenage grandson enjoyed the game room early in the morning and then nightly, playing video games and watching movies. The 4 baths allowed us all to quickly clean up from a hard day of skiing. Thus, we were able to beat the crowds at your local restaurants!!! And, we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, cooking breakfast daily and cooking lasagna one night. After skiing, we enjoyed your hot tub and then playing games on your large, well lighted table. And talking about skiing....it was nice to have access to your garage to unload our equipment and keep the cars warmer. Thanks!!! Thanks for the welcome basket, paper towels, tissues, etc. We usually do not find these in other rentals. These supplies were greatly appreciated!! Finally, I appreciate your timely communications (emails) from the time your house was reserved until the time we arrived. My family had a great time in your wonderful house. It was all that we hoped for. Our satisfaction can be exhibited via the question my 5 yr old granddaughter asked me as we were leaving, "Grandpa, can we stay in THIS ski house next year? Great family ski get away house!!

Thanks again Ann for sharing your roomy house with my family of 11. As in the past (This is our 5th or 6th time we have stayed here), we enjoyed the stocked kitchen, large dining table, and entertainment room!! Can’t wait to return next year!!!

Beautiful House, Great Location

The house is great, and the location is beautiful! It was the perfect place for our 3-generation family group of ten people to stay for our visit to Snow Mountain Ranch. The house was clean and well-stocked for our one week stay.

Winter Family Vacation

My husband and I rented this property for a family trip with our adult children, spouses and grandchildren. The 12 of us had a great time skiing, tubing, ice skating etc. The house was very spacious and so well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could need. Ann graciously provided toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags etc. The house has many books and games to keep you entertained. The hot tube was a hit. Thanks for a great family trip full of memories for years to come. We hope to return next year.

Good Times Once Again

Thanks again Ann for sharing your house! The well equipped kitchen allowed us to bake/cook a variety of meals (burgers, ham, casseroles, breakfast, etc.) and enjoy them around your large table. The new sound system was a hit with my 16 year old grandson!! The grandkids really enjoyed the hot tub again, plus, the sledding hill at the nearby park. We had plenty of space at the kitchen bar, kitchen nook table and the large table for all to enjoy their games, toys, computers, etc. without getting in the way of each other. And, the 5 bedrooms were once again a prefect arrangement for my family of 11. We will once again rent your house when we ski next year!!!

Everything was great! The house is amazing

I rented the house and invited my parents and in laws for a week. We had a great experience. Fishing, hiking, eating, golfing, biking! The kids enjoyed the movie room every day!

Annual mid-summer family trip

One of the best vacation rentals we’ve found to date! This house was perfect for our extended family to get together for our annual Grand County summer vacation. So much to do, convenient location, great to kick back and relax. The space was ideal for all 9 of us and the kids loved the bunk rooms. We stayed in a few nights and cooked at home. The kitchen was well stocked and we had so much fun cooking together. A beautiful dining room table was big enough for us to all get around and we even played board games one night after dinner. Make sure you take a peek outside around 6:45 every morning, there’s a good chance you’ll spot a hot air balloon. All in all, we loved our time-looking forward to going back!

Great House -Perfect Location -Awesome Views - Great Communication!

We had 2 families, a total of13 people, ages ranging 7-adult. This house was perfect for our group! The 2 master bedrooms are fabulous! This house is in a great location - our kids fished at the pond and played at the nearby playground. My son caught his first rainbow trout in that pond- something he will never forget! Within a short drive, we also did horseback riding, hiking, white water rafting, golfing, ATVing...to name a few. Sitting in the hot tub in the mornings and watching the hot air balloon go up in to the early morning sky is incredible! We will be comparing this property to others we plan to visit in the future and I am afraid we won't find one quite like this...but we will keep your property in mind if we plan to visit the Tabernash area again! Spring Break 2021

Everything you need for a weeks getaway! It was perfect for the 7 of us! The views were amazing! The skiing was perfect! We enjoyed the hot tub pretty much every day we were there. Took many walks around the lake in the snow. Played games & watched movies & there was plenty of room for all of us on the huge sofa sectional! We were so sad when our stay came to an end! Would defiently highly recommend & hope to go back again!

Great Accommodations For Our Annual Family Ski Trip

This was the 4th time my family of 11 (adults, teen, kids) have stayed at this fantastic house. The house has plenty of space for all types of activities (watching movies, playing video games, playing various indoor games, kids playing with their toys, etc.). The well stocked kitchen had all utensils needed for us to prepare our meals. The pantry was more than adequate enough to store all of the food that we brought with us. We really enjoyed eating/gathering at the very large table. My family also enjoyed the hot tub, cooking on the grill, and playing in the snow at the neighborhood park! And as in the past, having the 4 bathrooms always pleases my family of 11. Ann, your "ski house" is a great place to retreat to after a good day on the slopes. Thanks for sharing it with us!!!

Covid Thanksgiving

We loved this house! The location was perfect for outdoor activities - in between Granby and Winter Park. The complex was beautiful with a scenic pond and a nice walking path around the periphery. The owners did a great job with detailed instructions on everything. And the welcome basket and other personal touches were much appreciated. The house was very comfortable for our family of five. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was awesome! We will be back!

Fabulous home in Grand County

We had such a lovely week up in Tabernash. The home is fabulous and sparkling clean. We loved the views, hot tub, proximity to loads of hiking trails and everything. I’ve stayed in many VRBO homes to vacation and this was among the best with everything in great working order and well stocked kitchen, great linens and decor! Will keep this one in mind for future mountain getaways!!

Summer 2020

Ann was amazing and bent over backwards to help us with things to do in the area. This was my first VRBO experience, and Ann set the bar very high! The house was huge and had more than enough blankets, towels and sheets. The kitchen literally has everything you could need. Again it was our first VRBO experience and we brought way to much in terms of things to cook with and spices. we could have baked a cake and served up dinner for 20 in this kitchen! Lovely.

Two families own this home. We both live in Colorado (Denver and Boulder), and have enjoyed the Tabernash/Winter Park area for 3 years before purchasing our dream home. Between us we have 5 kids. We all love to ski and hike. This area is special for us and we hope you enjoy it as well.

Why they chose this property

This home is special because of the view! There is nothing like it when you sit in the hot tub and watch a hot air balloon rise from the valley, or enjoy the view of Winter Park ski area with a cup of coffee on the sofa. There is a pond next door that is stocked with trout; a playground for the kids; hiking trails walking distance from the front door; and wildlife to enjoy. This is truly a place to get away from it all, relax and take in the important things in life.
