Maui Vacation
This place is gorgeous! we stayed only a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable. place was clean and the location is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. This is a place I would defiantly come back to.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay itself was nice, the view, and the location. My only comment is that the AC was old and rusted so it didn’t really make the living room area comfortable to sleep in. It was almosts as if it was blowing hot air because we were following how low we could set it. It was me, my significant other, and my two kids so the kids were supposed to sleep on the pull out sofa and us in the room. However we all crammed in the one room because it was cooler in there. Lahaina has breeze but during the day in the room it was hot.

Really enjoyed our stay. I realize that if the place were exponentially nicer and updated the cost to stay would increase. So the price and the quality were equal and met my expectations. Beautiful little condo right on the water. Great experience

Originally in unit 109 (love the ground floor lanai and direct access to the outside area - unit is dated but view amazing). After first night plumbing problems and we were moved to an upstairs unit when it was determined the problem wasn't a quick fix. Newer updated unit 204 upstairs. Still ocean view though smaller balcony. We were back on Maui to help support the island with donations, volunteer and generous shopping, activities and tipping. Would stay again when on vacation.

In need of serious upgrades
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've previously stayed at this facility in a different unit, but unit 109 is need of serious upgrades. For tall people you have to bend over backward to get under the shower head; the bed was way to soft and we woke with backaches every day; the slider doors to the lanai were difficult to open, the AC unit is rusting away from salt water on it's exterior likely affecting it's performance, the carpet [why is there carpet in the first place] was stained; so overall we'd never lease this unit again. It seems fairly obvious that the unit is in or near its original condition when the facility was built. The owner needs to seriously upgrade this unit to reflect current renter tastes.

I stayed here before 2 years ago and have recommended it to many of my friends and gave them the website. I came right after Covid and it was great but this time 2 weeks was great.. Both times I rented through Lonnie Newman and she is always very nice and friendly. And this time they were having a big meeting there and it was wonderful they had food and hula dancers music, tents the owners went all out and invited everyone staying there. It’s always great to stay there and a ground floor unit is even better lol thank you all so much Sheri Shepard Las Vegas, Nevada

Turtles were visible every afternoon. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean. The sounds of the waves were ever present. I highly recommend this rental for a great vacation.

Reviewer Comments: Overall clean, but I would like to make the owner and manager aware of broken items and needed necessities.1)plug in black fan broken, it was broke last stay 5 yrs ago 2) something is causing sawdust in microwave cabinet and was all over the counter every morning in the coffee pot, could be termite3) Towels, silver ware, napkins, sandwich bags, foil items were not provided, I bought some and left for next guest.4) a/c is dripping water badly on Lani5) ice maker in freezer is not working well it drips alot of water and freezes to bottom of tray.

I do hope when we return someday it will be replaced. I do wish there was a safe on the lower level to lock up valuables. But you can not beat the sunsets and the turtles floating by. Perfect location to all the nice beaches. Snorkeling was pristine. We BBQ'd several nights right out the door. Nice pool to cool off in after snorkeling. We had a wonderful vacation and would gladly stay again. Lonnie was especially great in assisting us.

We brought home leftovers and were able to utilize the oven, microwave and sink to reheat not only our meals but to prep additional ingredients as well. The backyard patio was wonderful to eat at and to also relax and view the ocean sounds and views. We were a short drive to Lahaina for all our shopping needs, Kaanapali for snorkeling, Kapalua for more private beach going and hiking, and a reasonable drive to Wailea for additional fun!I would highly recommend for all travelers to Maui who prefer a more individualized experience external of a resort!

Property manager and maintenance take much pride in making the outside of the property very alluring, relaxing and beautiful!The unit we stayed in #109 was filthy! It didn’t seem like it had been really cleaned in a long time! Dusty, rusty and moldy! Very uncomfortable the first night, but we cleaned and made it more comfortable for us! The location of the unit was perfect, but the inside left much to be desired! No upgrades, which would have been fine, if it was clean! I would recommend this building to everyone looking for a perfect location, and I would absolutely stay here again, but would choose a different unit for my stay!

Two weeks in Paradise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Kaleialoha. Between friends and family, we rented out a total of 6 suites. every one of the suites were clean and well maintained. Some were newer and more modern than others but the rental prices reflect that. And per location, you couldn't ask for a better area. We have been to Maui 6 - times as a family, and the Honokowai area is our favourite. It's a little more quite then some of the real touristy areas. The Condo itself is facing, and literally steps from the ocean. There is a nice little swim area to the front and left of the unit as well. A couple people in our party had small issues with appliances, but Lonnie the property manager was very quick to react and get things rectified. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for beautiful, reasonably priced accomodations. While you're in the area, check out Dukes for their Hula Pie and Kahlua pork nachos.

Very dull knife, old BRITA water filter.I asked the host if knife can be sharpened but request denied. Bad tasting ice from outdated fridge.Crusty shower head and mildew on tile floor.No seasonings provided. Only one detergent provided for laundry.Outdated kitchen appliances and washer and dryer.
