The Silent Valley River Kalsa-Organic Farm Stay
Silent Valley-Alchuana is a privately owned 100 acres estate in Alchuana-Bhimtal (Nainital). 19th century British designed house with river Kalsa flows along farm and estate, 5 bedrooms and dining room/Balcony with 2 bathrooms, ideal for 9 people, surrounded by pine and oak trees. Rooms have access to bathrooms without interfering guests staying in other rooms through a corridor connecting to washrooms. 2 extra beds can placed in 2 rooms. There is a big courtyard in front of house to have evening tea or to sit, play badminton,relax and watch birds in morning.
Walking, trekking, birding, bathing in pristine rivers and waterfalls, star gazing, visiting tiny hamlets, enjoying local cuisine made from organic vegetable grown in our own farm, bee keeping and staying in traditional Kumaoni culture are what you can enjoy here. It offers homely accommodations for a nice stay and enjoys the nature near Nainital. Homestay was established in relation to eco tourism, rural tourism and cultural tourism.
Guest access
Guests are free to access all parts of the 100 acres estate. The estate bungalow is built on a hillock in the lap of Himalayas. And river Kalsa flows down along with estate make it the perfect place to enjoy both hill top and river.
We organise treks for guests with prior information. Guests can enjoy theme, nature and farm based activities like Bird wathching, Star Gazing, Cycling, Bee Keeping, Organic Farming, Horse riding, Kumaoni Village Walk, Nature and jungle walk.
