About this property

High Tide - located at Currarong

Just a 5 min walk to the beach, High Tide sits on the high side of Crookhaven Parade, with a large deck surrounding both the front and back of the house. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with single bunks and trundle. A recently renovated kitchen and combined dining and comfortable lounge, High Tide is a wonderful cosy home to spend the weekend with your loved ones.

A wide hardwood deck with a large outdoor table to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset at the front of the house or a smaller table at the back letting the gentle morning sun wake you up with a cuppa tea.

High Tide is perfect for a family or a couple who are looking to be outside for their holiday. Situated right next to the fire trail which 30 min walk will take you to the most fabulous cliffs overlooking the vast ocean and then onwards for a wonderful bush-walk to the beautiful and secluded beaches of Honeysuckle and Mermaids.

High Tide has a digital TV and BluRay player plus many games and DVD's to relax with.

High Tide has a fully fenced large backyard and pets will be considered upon application.

Currarong is an unspoilt haven of beaches and bush-walks, situated on the Beecroft Peninsula North of Jervis Bay, there is also ample opportunity for snorkelling and kayaking!

Absolute gem of a place

The house is beautiful and the host has thought of all the things one would need for a holiday. Quiet area surrounded by nature and the local community are also warm and welcoming. Definitely going back for another holiday

Cosy rainy weekend

This is a cosy, very well equipped little beach house. Kitchen has everything you could need, and the rest of the house is comfy and well appointed - especially for a pet friendly house. It’s tucked back further from the beach than other accommodation options in the area but you can hear the ocean, and for us, this was no issue as it rained heavily all weekend. We weren’t able to enjoy everything this house had to offer like the deck due to the rain. As others have mentioned, the staircase is potentially hazardous for small children or anyone with balance issues, in addition as the toilet is down the stairs this would be a consideration for anyone with mobility limitations. Thanks Nicole for such a well priced spot!

Comfy little hideaway

Gorgeous little house for a mini holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfy. The children enjoyed the board games and dvds, and loved running around the big verandah and huge backyard!

Comfortable and great views

We cozy spacious home in a quiet area with only the sounds of nature/ wildlife, The place was very clean and organised. The owner thought of everything one might need on a weekend stay. Loved the closeness of bushland behind the property. Would highly recommend this place who seek a comfortable getaway from the big smoke!

Lovely Beach cottage

Great position, located next to the entrance to a lovely walk. Well fitted out. Very peaceful and the cacophony of noise from the local bird population was wonderful. Great back yard for the dogs also.

Stunning outlook

Clean, well stocked, warm on cold days. Beautiful outlook from kitchen/lounge. Well stocked kitchen, heaters and fans in living areas. Quiet area, lovely wide deck with table outdoor seating and BBQ. Already booked another holiday there.

Great beach house

Had a lovely time at this cute, cosy house. Very clean, well equiped house. Lots of board games to play. Beautiful deck to watch the sunsets and see long beach. Kangaroos hopping right near place. Great host to communicate with. I wouldn’t recommend the house for crawling babies / toddlers, staircase wouldn’t be safe. Lovely area - we will be back

We had a lovely time staying here and the area is really dog friendly which was great for us. Did some nice walks and exploring. Would love to stay again when the weather is nice so we can truly enjoy the lovely deck and beach.

Perfect coastal retreat

I needed a break 'from it all' and this beautiful, peaceful home allows you to do that. I loved it from when I first stepped inside - it has a great feel and a cool breeze blows through with wide verandahs on 3 sides. A lot of thought has gone into fitting it out to make this a perfect coastal retreat. Dog-friendly spacious and hidden beachs and walks are only minutes away. Being genuinely dog friendly accommodation is the icing on the cake. Many thanks Nicole for making this the best holiday (even in the rain).

Great place and location, friendly and responsive host

The place was a great base for exploring Currarong. It has everything you need, and the deck is lovely. However, it could be a bit cleaner - I spoke with the host though who apologised and I believe the issues will be fixed. Overall we would recommend it.

Another wonderful stay at High Tide

Our family has just enjoyed our second stay at High Tide and we had a lovely time. The house has everything needed for a relaxed holiday - we especially love the spacious front deck with its spectacular view across Currarong to the ocean. High Tide is well located for bushwalks in the stunning Beecroft Peninsula too. Thanks Nicole, for another great stay at High Tide, we hope to be back again soon!
