My Place - light filled and spacious

This immaculately presented place was built in 60's and has just been fully renovated/restored. It is well equipped with all essentials to make your stay easy. The bedroom has Queen size bed. Pure Australian wool quilts and 100% pure cotton Sheridan bedding are used. The Queen Bed has Sealy firm mattress provide comfort and support. The bathroom has a bath, a shower and heated towel rails. The toilet is separated from bathroom.

Gateway to Manly, National Park & CBD, this immaculately presented, spacious and light filled place is located on a quiet and beautiful tree-lined street. It is close to bus access to the city and Chatswood (North Shore train line). Take your morning walk in Garigal National Park Bush land (Great North Walk, 250 meters), to Flat Rock Beach (400 meters) in the Middle Harbor and enjoy the unique and stunning array of local flora and fauna and frequently encountered wild life such as kookaburras, cockatoos, and lorikeets in the area.

Only a 10-15min drive to Sydney's northern beaches (including Dee Why Beach and Manly Beach/Corso/Ferry) and well serviced Sydney CBD and Chatswood buses it is an central & convenient location.

Using only non toxic/organic cleaning products, the place is suitable for allergy suffers.

Excellent Host

Great little place
Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, this older style apartment was equipped with everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The host was very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.

Good place
Enjoyed driving to the beaches. Curl Curl is about 20minutes. Clean with nice waves. Also Shelly beach with less waves, good for youngsters. Apartment is on ground floor.Tidy and clean. The owner is nice and helpful. Andrew S.

We were in between leaving our old house and moving into our new apartment. The part house rental was good for this purpose and Ping allowed us to store half a dozen pot plants in her garden. However we were only provided with 1 key and a key safe which was a constant irritation as we have 2 cars and go out separely. Ggv 1 key

Lovely quiet area close to shops and northern beaches
property was very clean and good for short or slightly longer stay. Need a car to reach public transport but small group of shops close by. Good sized bathroom, separate toilet. Street parking. Used as between selling and buying new property so not as a tourist as such. Quick drive to city or to Chatswood, beaches etc. Hostess, Ping, was very obliging and helpful.

Great Accomodation
This property was perfect for the boys to come home to each night after long days working. It was great proximity to Manly and surrounds and is well appointed and very clean and tidy. Ping was very kind and easy to communicate with when we needed to extend our stay. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Everything You Need
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'My Place'. It has storage space, all the appliances you need, very clean and very comfortable beds. It is in a quiet area - an oasis from the hustle and bustle. Good bus access to Manly or Chatswood, walk to shop for essentials and cafes. Would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful Retreat
The property was very well kept and clean. The host was very helpful, kind and friendly. She always had solutions to any issues we had during our stay. Overall it is located in a peaceful neighbourhood of Sydney with bustling suburbs like Chatswood only a 15 minute drive. Would definitely recommend Ping's property.

Lovely location
Ping was a great host, strong communication and courteous. The flat suited our purposes, and was in a lovely spot. Only ‘issues’ as such are that the lounge furniture was not exactly comfortable, so relaxing of a night before bed was less great. And the bedrooms were comfortable but could do with a deep vacuum clean. I ended up vacuuming as the dust was a bit much. Rest of the flat was spotless and overall we were happy.

1stly - location, primo spot out and away from Sydney CBD but necessary for our need's that were met.2ndly - the amenities within that were available on hotel level without the extra costs.3rdly - sharing of her garden produce.Great Home away from home.However,We were aware of your desire for being nonsmokers that make's sense. However, it wasn't apparent that incense caused you headaches etc that you requested us to desist.This I felt should've been made known along the nonsmokers alert as we'd have looked elsewhere where the host/owner wasn't on-site.As for the request of parking on the street, I feel is an insult considering of our paying for the work's.However, Sydney holidaying accommodation does this whether airport or bnb.I now realised I need to be proactive in checking out accommodation in future, words for the wiser.

Excellent spot!
This rental suited us perfectly as a family of 4 needing short-term accommodation in between moving houses. Ping is a super host, doing everything she can to ensure our comfort and sharing her gardening knowledge with our kids who were very excited to learn everything they could about her amazing edible garden. The house is short walk from a stunning local beach too!

Very clean place in good location
My elder relatives stayed in the property for three weeks from January to February 2020. The place is located towards tip end of the peninsula with two bedrooms, bathroom etc. as advertised. It is spacious and very clean with modern appliances in the kitchen and living area. The public bus stop for access to the shops, city and beaches is a 5 mins walk. The neighbourhood is very quiet and leafy. The owner lives in the same building so any issues can be quickly resolved.

Very clean and convenient
My partner and I stayed at this lovely place for a week during a work trip. This property is very spacious with a large bathroom and separate toilet and is very clean. It is conveniently located not far from shops and Garigal National Park. Excellent phone and internet reception (which surprisingly is very random in Sydney). We will definitely stay here again if we work that way again.

Excellent location and convenient
We loved our stay at this property in Nov 2014 along with our two children. It is quiet, peaceful and very close to a beautiful beach and a national park. The owner was also very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Flat rock beach is just lovely (we had it to ourselves for a day) and a very short walk from the place. Beautiful walks through the national park as well. A short walk to some nice cafes and bakeries. The property is comfortable, the cooking utensils are great, and there is an automatic vacuum cleaner that keeps the place nice and clean while you are away. About 30 minutes to the city by car during peak hour. We loved our stay and hope to be back sometime.

Our Review
We enjoyed our stay due to: the adequate and clean facilities, the convenient location to walks in the national park and bus to Chatswood. On the downside: the electric element of the oven caused the main power switch to trip and the sound insulation to the adjoining main house is not adequate.
