Southern Belle Vacation Rentals in Savannah, GA, and Tybee Island, GA provides first-class amenities including access to our exclusive resort-style heated pool located at 19 Silver Avenue, Tybee Island GA. All of our homes are professionally cleaned after each stay, and disinfected using a quaternary disinfectant throughout the entire property prior to each new arrival.

Step right into the hippest vacation rental in downtown Savannah and fit right in! This cool, modern space located in the heart of the historic district is the ideal place to spend a restful vacation in Savannah within walking distance of major landmarks...leave your car and stroll through the tree-lined streets to the Civic Center, Soho Cafe, Forsyth Park, River Street, and tons of other things to view and see during your visit in Savannah! It has two dedicated, private parking spaces, a rare find in the downtown area.

The Hip Savannah Pad features a large, modern living room area with a flatscreen TV, decorative fireplace, and plenty of seating as well as a futon. There is also a wide-open kitchen with a writing desk, breakfast area, lots of storage, four-burner range, and all appliances you need to cook an incredibly tasty meal. This home sleeps a maximum of 4 people in two large bedrooms with King sized beds, bedside tables with reading lamps, flatscreen TVs, and closets. There is a shared full bath in this home that has central heat & air as well as free Wi-fi and an on-site washer/dryer.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm
November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.
⁃Day Before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day and the Day after Thanksgiving
⁃Day Before Christmas, Christmas Day and The Day After Christmas
⁃Day Before New Years, New Years Day, and the Day after New Years

College Visit

We came into town to tour SCAD. The location was great to everything in the museum district. Walking distance from pretty much everything. Great little coffee shop right across the street. Will stay again for sure.

Great Location with off street parking!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hip Pad in historic downtown Savannah, and I can't recommend it highly enough! This charming spot is perfectly situated just a 10-minute walk from all the main attractions, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city's rich history and vibrant culture. The space itself was clean and spacious, with a welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. There are 2 bedrooms and the front bedroom is a bit noisy with the sidewalk right outside its window. The decor was stylish and thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxing environment to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or just a solo adventure, The Hip Pad is an excellent choice. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Savannah, The Hip Pad is a fantastic option. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city!

Weekend Fall trip with Family.

Spent a beautiful weekend with my wife and son for his college Fall break. This place had it all - good location, great size, very well maintained. Can’t wait to come back.

Great tucked away stay!

Overall we had a great experience! My only complaints are getting curtains that actually cover the windows, and the parking space barely fit my car with the impeding trash cans. The windows (being on the base floor) should have curtains that provide privacy to the unit. I felt paranoid. Otherwise, super positive! It was clean and the beds were SO comfortable!!! Thank you!

Visiting for SCAD graduation

We enjoyed our stay at Hip Savannah Pad. The location was perfect and within walking distance of everything. Felt safe and appreciated having 2 parking spaces since our daughter was a student at SCAD and was able to park her car also when we were out and about town. Also, loved that the Hip Pad was pet friendly as our family pet was also able to accompany us in this very pet friendly town.

Perfect location

This street level home was spacious, well-stocked, and conveniently located within walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit in Savannah. Beds were comfortable, and seating was cozy. Electronic plugins provided in numerous convenient locations. The front bedroom is situated in such a way that street noise is magnified. After turning on a white noise app on my phone, it helped a lot. Private covered porch in the back was great extra space for sitting.

Savannah getaway

We had a wonderful stay. A few hiccups along the way but the overall stay was good. The owners had good communication with us when we did have issues. The location is perfect as you are within walking distance of anywhere you might want to go. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and parks close by. Would definitely recommend this place!

The condo is as advertised. There was plenty of room and comfortable beds. The location could not have been better. We walked everywhere. It is so close to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Place was very clean and tidy. Only issue I have is that it says heated pool access but the pool is a 30 minute drive to Tybee Island. It felt a little misleading as that was the headline for the property. I will admit I did not read too carefully on the details of the pool location, but I’ve also never stayed at a place that highlights pool access with it being far from the property and we stay at. Seems more appropriate for a Tybee Island rental than one in Savannah during the winter months. But the location was more important than anything else. So overall a good stay.

What a Great City !

The weather was absolutely beautiful all 5 days and once again, The City of Savannah did not disappoint us ! I do want to make mention of a few things to the owner and/or the management agent of “ The Hip Pad of Savannah “. First off, what a great location to all things the city has to offer.Safe/ quiet neighborhood, with several restaurants and bars nearby. The Hip Pad was “ pretty “ clean and tastefully done… however, the bathroom needs a much overdue remodel ( poor lighting, antiquated shower and rather dingy looking ( fixtures, mirror,carpet and shower curtain all need to be replaced ) As well as the carpet in the living room.. The other negative comment would be the pool we had access to on Tybee Island. The parking around the pool is pretty much nonexistent, but we were told that prior to going there ! When we finally got to the pool, the water temp. was well over 90 and was not at all refreshing to us.Back to the Hip Pad..w The beds, pillows and linens were good quality and very comfortable !!! The price was reasonable considering the fabulous location we were at. The cost of all of the taxes and fees attached to the cost of the apt. rate was unreasonable ( even though you were transparent about them upfront ) . Would we come back for a visit to Savannah… Yes… however we probably wouldn’t stay at this place again.

Fun place to stay on girls trip

Fantastic Home

We loved our stay here. The place is just as advertised, no surprises upon checking in! Property Manager even checked in to make sure out stay was perfect. Loved the location as all parts of the city were a convenient walk and close to Trolley stops too. Property was clean and well maintained. Stocked with any basics you may need. The designated parking was nice but with a larger SUV was a tight fit. The space is better suited for a small to mid sized car, especially if planning to park 2 vehicles.

We arrived late by train w/o incident. Check in was easy and the place was spotless. Just far enough from all the downtown frivolity to still get good night's sleep but close enough to easily get around on foot. Convenience of Savannah Roasters essentially across the street came in real handy for excellent morning coffee and pastries. A better showerhead would be a smart move and a window exaust fan would greatly improve the bathroom. Overall, a great experience.

Comfortable and Walkable

This property was outstanding in every way. It suited our (couple and friend) needs perfectly. It was so well located - we parked our two cars in the lane way behind the apartment and walked everywhere! The apartment itself was nicely decorated, and the kitchen well outfitted. Bedding and linens comfortable and high quality. Will definitely book this spot again!

Great location

The property is in a great location, close to everything and bus stop just steps away. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Southern Belle responded to a text about the wifi within minutes. The only issue was the upstairs residents. They were extremely hard walkers, steps were loud on our ceiling, they had numerous people walking very frequently at all hours. If these were just short stay people we were just unlucky. If they are permanent residents, the noise was enough that we wouldn't rent again. However,Southern Belle was outstanding. We've always stayed at hotels in Savannah but will now use Southern Belle.

Great location!

This property is in the heart of the historic district with so much very close by. In walking distance is The Six Pence Pub, The Hitch, Mellow Mushroom, The Public and shopping! Just a short walk away is the famous Chippewa Square and the Savannah Theater. The trolley stop is just a block away which made things very convenient. The property itself was ok. Definitely needs some love. It was clean but just in need of some TLC. It accommodated our needs but I probably wouldn’t stay at this particular property again. I would however stay with Southern Belle vacation rentals again. They are awesome with communication. They check on you several times to make sure that all is well with your stay. One night we stayed there and at 3am the power went out in the unit. I text management and had a response by 3:18am letting me know it was an area outage and when yo expect power to return. I was very impressed with that! Can’t go wrong with this location!
