About this property

This beautiful cottage has recently been renovated both inside and out and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Centrally located close to all of Wallaroo's best attractions this cottage is perfect for a family holiday or for a group of keen fishermen eager to enjoy some of the local fishing hotspots. Property can accommodate 6 - 8 people.

3 large bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a King Bed, Split Air conditioning, ceiling fan and 40" Wall mounted TV. Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed, Split Air conditioning and ceiling fan. Bedroom 3 has 1 Double Bed and 2 Single Beds and a ceiling fan.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer and microwave.

The lounge room has flat screen TV, DVD player and large split system air conditioner with both heating and cooling for year round comfort.

Bathroom has bath, shower and toilet. There is also a second toilet.

Laundry has washing machine and tub.

Out back there is a large deck with outdoor setting. There is also a large separate undercover BBQ area. Also the 2 lawn areas provide plenty of room for kids to play. The large full fenced driveway provides plenty of off street parking for both cars and boats. The sliding gate has a 6 metre wide opening so reversing most boats is a breeze. The gate is fully lockable. For those keen fishermen there is also a fish cleaning bay ready for those catches of a lifetime.

Strictly no smoking inside the house.

1 set of linen supplied for all beds. 1 bath towel is provided per guest. Bath mat and hand towel also provided.

Pets may be allowed outside ONLY by prior arrangement. The enclosed yard has plenty of shade / shelter. (Pets are not permitted inside the house).

Fantastic holiday house

Wallaroo Getaway

A quick stop to go fishing

We decided to go fishing for the weekend so we wanted some easy accommodation that had facilities for fish cleaning. We found Anchors Away and it seemed to fit what we were after. We had a few discussions via phone and email with the owners and they were always happy to help out with our questions. The property itself was everything we needed and more, it was clean and tidy inside and out. The back deck and shelter area were well set out and was a great place to sit and enjoy a drink after a day fishing on the beach. With a huge back yard i think i will be bringing my boat next time and staying for longer. Thanks to Scott for answering our calls when we were late arriving, once he explained the key set up we were in and settled within minutes. Having the accommodation made the weekend that much more enjoyable knowing it was a nice place to return to each night. Thanks again to our hosts.

Loved staying here again my favorite place of all is the decking i love waiting for the weather to cool down to sit out on their decking with a nice cold glass of wine and smell the sea breeze. its in a perfect little spot a short drive to foodland and a park for the kids and just a short drive to the beach😊 love wallaroo Thanks again😊

Great Getaway House

Fabulous Property

We had a great stay at Anchors Away. From the very start the process of renting went very smoothly. The owners could not have been more helpful. The house was spacious, uncluttered and clean, both inside and out. A great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Getaway holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Easy drive to the beach and shops. Excellent secure outdoor area for entertaining. A coffee machine/plunger would have been good and more cleaning products for the BBQ and kitchen would have been helpful.

great property

From the moment we entered the yard we loved it. Complete with BBQ, pergola, strawberry patch, and large lockable yard. The house was perfect with 3 large bedrooms 1 king 2 queen 2 single and a porta cot, kitchen well catered for, I loved the large fridge, this property is perfect for families with big and small kids. Highly recommend.

An amazing pet firendly property

An amazing pet friendly cottage with a fantastic backyard for both relaxing and entertaining. The house had everything needed to enjoy your stay, 3 large bedrooms (sleeps 8) 2 split system air conditioners, enclosed wood fire. Plenty of secure car parking for cars/boats/trailers with massive sliding gate, big back yard for the dog(’s) with more lights than the light factory makes backing the boat/trailer in at night easy, The cottage has security screens / doors for added security allowing the windows to stay open on the warmer nights & a 2nd outdoor toilet. Scott & Megan were an absolute pleasure to deal with through the whole booking process and more than accommodating for our furry little friend Kenny the pug who had an absolute ball running around the hug secure back yard. Highly recommended, and will definitely be coming back.

What a delight!!

We absolutley had a wonderful time staying at your house, beautifully presented with everything we needed and more :) The quality appliances and nice fluffy towels just add that little bit of luxury to a beach holiday :) My 3 and a half year old sons comment was "Mummy can we stay here forever?"

The property owners were so helpful in assisting us plan a perfect stay with them. The property listing is accurate and there were no disappointments. The cottage met all our needs, the beds were comfortable with quality linen and beautiful quilt covers ect. The kitchen was well equipped and immaculately clean and had a decent sized fridge (which would be handy if you were staying for a while or had a larger group or family). The modern automatic washing machine was great, being able to wash while we were away meant I didn't have a back log of laundry when I got home. There was a good sized flat screen TV with clear reception. It was lovely being able to travel with our little pet dog, that is the first time I have done that and as she is very much part of our family, it was fantastic that the whole family could go away together. As she is so tiny I was a little concerned that she may be able to get under a gate or similar but she was very safe in the enclosed back yard which had plenty of shade and shelter. It was fantastic sitting outside in the backyard in the undercover decking area, unfortunately we only did a 2 day stay and not get time to use the BBQ provided but I could for-see it would be a very enjoyable experience, we would love to have been able to stay for longer as it would be a perfect place to relax and unwind. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for your stay particularly for families and tourists who wish to travel with their pet on holiday. We considered the property to be great value for money. The property owners were flawless in their help and assistance that they provided and it was very much appreciated, we had a lovely stay.
