The Lake James Retreat

Please come and enjoy all the comforts of home at our lakefront getaway! Our location is the perfect spot to watch all the action of the lake and still have peace and quiet when you want it. The interior of the home is comfortable and inviting to groups of people and large families and the cleaning crew makes it spotless between guests with extra precautions for COVID. Sleeps 12 in beds; 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full and 6 singles. We have a large, flat front yard for games with the family. Shallow area for swimming. Local pontoons are available for rent, which could be docked on pier. Directly across from Pokagon Beach and Pokagon State Park making the views from our screened in porch stunning for summer, fall leaves, and winter wonderland. Pokagon Park also has numerous things to do for families including horseback riding, trails to hike, fishing, and a beach. Several fast food as well as sit down restaurants and outlet malls are located nearby. We have cornhole boards or bags for your use. Washers boards will also be available for your family enjoyment. If you enjoy the sunshine of the day our large yard provides great entertainment and there are outside lights if that fun continues into the evening. Our screened in porch is a great way to be able to enjoy the the sun without being directly in it and the ceiling fans help cool you down if it is summer time. The screened in porch also protects you from mosquitos and other insects in the summer months that are sure to be around although we do spray once a year which is a huge help in that arena.
