Denham cottage was an ideal place to sit back and relax. We sat out on the lawn under the trees with some drinks and snacks daily, enjoying the vistas and native animal visits. A perfect location, close drive to town and other regional areas. We will be keen to return soon!
Denham Cottage is delightful! Set back from the road in a charming garden setting, the property had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Plenty of space, a wonderful host in Denise and easy access to the village centre and the national park. We loved everything about it.
Private cute country retreat amongst stunning nature - like stepping back in time. Very spacious and pictures don't do it justice! Hosts were fantastic and generous. Close to town. Would return
Great little cottage with everything you could want. Beautiful quiet setting amongst great bushland, lots of rabbits, native birds and kangaroos were our visitors most mornings.
Great communication with the host and on arrival a lovely surprise of provisions was waiting for us.
Denham cottage is a home away from for a few days and we came away fully recharged ready for the new working week. Can definitely recommend this cottage.
Lovely cottage very private with lots of kangaroos and good location into village and driving to Kangaroo Valley, Fitzroy Falls etc.
Great area for our dogs too
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage with our grandkids and dog. The cottage was cosy and very private, our dog loved the gardens and even had a friend come to play each day.
We walked to the local sports club and the locals were very welcoming. And Bundanoon village is close by.
The host was lovely, nothing was too much trouble.
We would not hesitate to recommend staying here
Was a delight to view the birds and wildlife from a comfortable lounge. The cottage is well-located with excellent heating and facilities. It is located well back from the street and trains, though nor far away, did not disturb us at all. Won't hesitate to recommend.
Property was cosy and comfortable. Wildlife was lovely (kangaroos, rabbits and birds). Not far from town. Good communication with owner. Wonderful place to stay.
Property was nicely and thoughtfully presented, with several areas sit and read, watch television and play games all at the same time. Beautiful property with great views and wildlife enjoying the backyard daily. Highly recommend.
Cute and quirky property with lots of personal touches kept lovely and clean. Easy walk to the off lead dog park and town. We appreciated the kind touches like the bread and marmalade and the Christmas decorations!
Very neat little cottage and welcoming. We did however run out of wood and gas on our last night of four. Other than that an overall very relaxing atmosphere.
We had a great stay, we were running late due to car problems and Denise had the fire lit and the place all warmed up for our arrival. The cottage was nice and cozy and we just relaxed in front of the fire most of the time we were there. The cottage was clean and tidy with everything we needed and they were so kind to leave us fresh bread, milk and delicious jam and marmalade for our stay. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
Very enjoyable unfortunately my husband and daughter are highly sensitive to dust. I guess inevitable with carpet and drapes other than this the house was spotless
We very much enjoyed the size of the property the Roos and rabbits
Thank you
This was the perfect Highland location.
The cottage was lovely, with a versatile layout and superb grounds. The fireplace was charming and watching kangaroos play while eating breakfast was pretty special.
Denise was a considerate and helpful host. Coming in to bread and milk (and chocolate) was an unexpected but wonderful gesture.
The location was great for exploring the Highlands. Central enough that nothing was too far away but secluded enough that it really felt like a proper retreat.
Overall it was a wonderful experience staying here.
Denise was a great host with good communication & provided ease in booking / check in to her lovely home. She decked out the house with just about everything we could need which was lovely. Only downside was no WiFi and very poor phone reception, but not a deal-breaker by any means. Better selection of DVDs would be one small suggestion, but otherwise a very enjoyable stay, thank you.
