Location Nice, House Icky

Both driveways were very steep, not sure how you would maneuver in icy weather. The house needed a good, spring cleaning, basic maintenance and TLC. There were cobwebs inside and out, numerous cobwebs. The house was dark inside, maybe more conducive to winter time sports. I would not return to this property.

Nice, with a few issues

We like the property and the floor plan. Although there were some pots, there were no pans to cook with, limited cutlery, and insufficient dishwasher detergent, so we Wash our last load of dishes. The drawer to the right of the stove i Was badly broken when we arrived, just so you know. A sidenote, it would be nice to offer duvets instead of blankets because it just feels fresher than blankets, in my opinion. I noticed that the HVAC seems to keep getting very very hot if you have it set up above 71°. We of course turned it down to 55 when we left. Thank you. Brian

Wonderful cabin and location, but….

This is a fantastic cabin with plenty of room to sprawl out and relax. In the cold months it is nice, cozy and toasty; in the summer it manages to stay cool and comfortable. This cabin offers exceptional value for the price and we have booked it twice which we never do because it's perfect for our family of 4. The one downside is the master bed. Unfortunately, the mattress is completely blown out. There are lumps and dips and it almost seems as though there are 2 twins pushed together. It was uncomfortable the first time but this visit it seems to have gotten worse. My husband and I both struggled to sleep well with it, so we can't give it the 5 star rating it otherwise deserves.

Quiet Surroundings, Peaceful place.

The cabin was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and just what we were looking for. A mishap occurred and the property management was incredibly helpful offering another site for us to stay at but we declined and did not stay after all. We were promptly refunded the money.

Perfect location, cozy comfort.

This condo was as close to perfect as it gets. The ideal balance of price, location, and amenities. My only concern is that the hill in front is TREACHEROUS in the morning when it freezes over. Two of us slipped and almost fell on the ice.

Nice Place Exception of Neighbors

The place was clean, checking in and out was very easy. Great location to Big Bear Mountain which was walking distance. The roads to the place are quite steep so ice and gettinf into their parking spaces were a little trouble some. Overall the place was great without any problems. But definitely not fun to have to deal with a neighbor that was rude. It appears the neighbor hates outside visitors that come to Big Bear so we had to deal with the last across the street being rude to us and our kids.

Great location and cozy

Clean cabin. The top floor (living room and dining room) is remodeled with nice bathroom, kitchen and living room. Big fireplace which is great! The master bedroom bed was comfortable, but the beds in the second bedroom were not

Suggestions

There should be outside lights so you don’t have to guess your way up stairs. The driveway should be somewhat cleared especially when snowing. There was more than enough to shovel.
