Rainbows End Old Adaminaby

Enjoy the best that the "Snowy Mountains" has to offer with superb year round trout fishing on Lake Eucumbene. Tackle a trout on your own, or enjoy a fishing charter with Lake Eucumbene Fishing Charters (refer to web page for more info). Or fish the surrounding rivers and streams in the open season. or open season in the surrounding rivers and streams. Rainbows End also offers a great winter escape with skiing at Selwyn Snowfields which is an easy 35-40 minute drive (depending on road conditions). Rainbows End will provide you with warm, comfortable accommodation for your stay with 2 master bedrooms containing a queen size bed, and 2 bedrooms each containing 2 single beds all with electric blankets, doonas and pillows.
The house features an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area upstairs with spectacular views over Lake Eucumbene and a large outdoor deck with BBQ. Downstairs includes a large rumpus room with a lounge, TV/DVD, bar fridge, wood fire and pool table.
All you need to bring is your sheets, pillowslips and towels.

Great spot!
We had a fabulous new year break here. The house, views and hot tub were great and we caught heaps of rainbow trout with Mark at Eucumbene Fishing Charters! Gorgeous spot and top house.

Great location.
Great location, very easy to communicate with the host. Lovely area with views of the lake and very nice, friendly neighbours. Unfortunately there was a lot of dust and 90% of the dishes and glasses we used had to be cleaned before use as they were filthy. Spa had a lot of sand and dust inside it and the chemicals were far too intense.

We loved our stay in your property. We would have loved for the sheets/towels to have been provided but we knew they weren't - would have just made packing a little easier and allowed us to relax the moment we arrived instead of making beds etc. the house set up was great for two families.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. Arrived with the fireplace burning nice and warm. Very helpful and friendly owner. Only a short drive to Selwyn. Our family had a great time with the stay.

Fabulous home perfect for our family. Highly recommend.
Ideally located. Beautiful home and arrived to a lit fireplace creating cosy atmosphere right from the start. A wonderful gesture. Thankyou Vicki. Everything you need is there for you. Grandsons had a fabulous time in the spa, tobogganing at Mt Selwyn and snow fights in Thredbo. Got to experience the falling snow which was magical. Boys loved feeding the parrots which they called fat boys and you only had to look at them to see why. Rainbows End was recommended to us and I highly pass on this recommendation. Any enquiries I had prior to our arrival Vicki answered promptly. Thankyou again. Will be back.

Great property, great owners!
We had a great week at Rainbow's End. Kids and adults all loved the house and the owners are quick to attend to any small problem you may have. Central to much that the snowy mountains have to offer. Beautiful lake views. My only recommendation for families is to be prepared do a big shop on the way in through Cooma or Tumut as the local shops offerings are quite sparse being a small town and it's a decent drive back to the big supermarkets if you forget anything. We had planned for this so that was OK. We had dinner at the Snow Goose in the main town on one evening and it was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely head back to this property if we're heading back to the area.

Fabulous Family Accommodation!
We are a family of 2 adults and four young children and found Rainbows End to be a very comfortable home to stay in while we enjoyed our time at the snow. There was plenty of space for the adults and kids to relax, the rosellas on the balcony were a lovely welcome and the view is just magnificent. The house was spotless when we arrived and had ample bedding extra blankets and pillows for our stay, and the electric blankets were great for a warm nights sleep. It was so lovely to have the fire already on and warming the house before we arrived - what a fabulous start to the holiday!! We will see you next year !!

Excellent Place for Winter
This is the second time staying at this place and we all very much enjoyed!!! Spacious, great views, lots of wildlife, cosy fire and loads of fun playing pool. Would recommend 100% - Will definitely be back next year :)
