The street level has the lounge room (which has a double sofa bed), kitchen, bathroom and laundry area.

There is also a paved outdoor area.
.
Parking is on street but we do provide one parking permit.

All linen is provided (excluding beach towels)

No smoking inside the terrace.

Internet is provided and there is a smart TV.

Out door pets may be allowed given prior notice and approval given. Pets must not sleep on bed linen and all droppings must be picked up and disposed. A $20.00 cleaning surcharge per stay will be applied.

This property is a terrace in a small quiet community. We ask that people celebrating Bucks, Does, or Schoolies occasions not to apply. To families and friends we ask you to respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.

Clean, quaint, cosy and well positioned.

Zara terrace house was a great place to stay for the 3 of us and our small dog. Plenty of easy and attractive walks and accessible eateries. The house was snug and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Trendy East End

We had my husbands 60th Birthday function at Noahs on The Beach in ZARRA St just 150 meters level walk from the cottage. The minimart is just 100-150 meters brilliant! Great Northern Hotel is close by in Scott Street & has a really nice meals & snacks menu (I was pleasantly surprised). The cottage is full of character with all original features and is in a cute-as-a-button neighbourhood. Everything is provided for you to do a quick clean up after yourself. I especially appreciated the stick vacuum as we have a little dog. The bed was very comfortable (really grateful for that). Harbourside parks are really close and are a joy to take pooch out exploring at business times. In all, we enjoyed Zarra St very much and hope to stay again.

Great location

Fantastic location. Close to beach, restaurants etc and tramline. Owner very quick to respond to our call, however there were concerns over security, Old world charm was compromised by much needed maintenance and refurbishment. . Kitchen only used to make coffee/ tea. Good if prepared to eat out.

Very cute cottage

What a quaint little cottage! Loved the original features especially the deck upstairs that afforded distant sounds of the sea. Parking was ok in that we found a space close to the cottage and parking permit was very handy. Some lovely walks. The original steps are steep but easily used. Would definately stay there again. Thanks.

Amazing property in the perfect location!

We rented this property for a two night stay in February. It was our second time staying here and chose it again because we loved it the first time around. It's a beautiful & comfortable house, which has everything you need. The two bedrooms upstairs are large and the back bedroom has a lovely balcony, which is a great place to have a morning cup of tea! The location couldn't be better with the beach and plenty of places for food a short stroll away. Try Edmonds for breakfast and Scotties for fish and chips! Thank you to Joanne for making the check in process so easy. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Terrace with 'old world' charm

This property is charming & cosy as it advertises. The owners have made sure that anyone who stays there wants for nothing. The location is excellent. It is more suitable for younger, more nimble people. This is because of the very narrow staircase up to the bedrooms. Also there is no toilet upstairs & while the bathroom downstairs has a lovely old fashioned bathtub you need to climb in & out of it to use the shower.

Great location!

I loved the location of this house. It was walking distance to the beach and lots of cafes and restaurants. My husband and I loved our 2 night stay in Newcastle and we hope to be back. The house and neighbourhood are older but I loved all the features.

Loved newcastle and this place was right at the beech.

Lovley place but does have it's downfall. The stairs are dangerous. I fell down down and cracked my ribs on Sunday ended up at the hospital.

Absolutely stunning historic home, close to everything!

This property is exceptionally well maintained and has such delightful character. It is an easy 2 minute walk from the beach and cafes. The only issue was a lack of privacy in the bathroom. Apart from this, it was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Central location to Beach and CBD

This old character styled terrace was situated in a perfect location which was a short walking distance to beach and The Newcastle CBD. The one thing that would make this place perfect is the addition of an Air Conditioner upstairs. Thanks again Joanne

A pace for young or nimble people

Joanne has a lovely clean, well appointed house that is close to beaches and the city. There were a couple of things that made it a little challenging. The shower is over the bath which was challenging getting in and out of as there are no grab rails to help steady you on getting in and out of. The narrow stairs were an issue especially to get suitcases up and down. The oven and grill did not work . There are no instructions as to how to light it.
