Guys cottage
Located a short distance from amenities. Lovely bush location, the wildlife and birds were beautiful and the short walks around the farm were lovely. This is not suitable for people whose walking abilities are limited, as the area around the cabin is uneven. There is a dog pen to secured put your dogs, however they do have to be supervised so as not to chase the many kangaroos. A different experience, clean and comfortable.

Tim's Olive farm adventure
We loved staying in this cosy cottage! It was a great home base for our Canberra adventures. Tim was such a lovely host and even took our little one for a ride on the farm vehicles, which was definitely a high point for her and a very special memory. His dogs were so sweet, friendly and calm, and got along with our cocker spaniel famously. We loved morning misty walks across the property with the dogs, and visiting the sugar gliders. We were super cosy and warm in the cottage, mid winter, and had everything we needed.

Great Farm Stay
This was a great farm stay. Tim was a great host. He was there for us when we had questions about the cottage, his farm, Canberra or Australia in general. And yet, he left us alone most of the time - it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city when we wanted and tour his farm and garden. Tim also had some good suggestions of different things to do and see while we were there. It was also interesting to see the olive plantation and oil processing operation - we wound up buying oil for a few friends back in the states. We would highly recommend this place for anyone that wants a laid-back farm stay that is still easy access to the capital city.

Fantastic farm location, friendly host, wonderful trip!
Had a lovely time, beautiful cottage with all the necessities and lovely farm scenery. Our two dogs loved playing with the other two farm dogs on the property. Can walk through the olive grove and down to the dam on the farm, perfect spot to relax for a weekend.

Relaxing get away
Tim’s cottage is a lovely place to relax and just kick back. Even our pre-teenager enjoyed exploring the property and playing with friendly house dogs. Our city dog loved to roam free on the yard. Good option if you want to visit to Queanbeyan or Canberra but don’t want the city/town accommodation.

We we stay again
Our experience was very enjoyable. The ability to just relax and come and go, engage with the host and the great farm grounds and location all made our stay well worth while. On our visit, we noted the floor needed a better clean and our host apologised. Also we note that there needs to be a way to ensure that should guests bring their pets inside that deep cleaning of all surfaces and bedding and furniture is made to support those whom may have allergies. Thanks Tim and Ros for a enjoyable stay.

Comfortable stay in Carwoola
Our stay at Guys Crossing was lovely and comfortable and importantly was well set up to also host our dogs. The property itself is in a beautiful setting, peaceful yet only a short drive to Canberra and surrounds. Tim was a fabulous host and generous with his time. If there are any left, we recommend buying a bottle of the olive oil!!

Great place to holiday with dogs
After a challenge finding the place it worked out really well. Tim has two lovely Kelpies and our three really enjoyed a long run in the bush and swim in the dam with the locals. Some fresh eggs, tomato and basil. Some of Tim’s home grown olive oil. While feeling out of the way as if on holiday we were only 6 minutes to town and many great restaurants. All in all a great stay.
