The Whitehouse.

Property was comfortable enough but requires some maintenance on the down stairs shower door missing a panel and water pressure poor. Ewan was great at communicating and very helpful.

Great location

Overall we had a good stay with family and friends. Had everything we needed and comfortable enough. Location is the big winner being on the water and still close enough to town and the clubs. Owner was accommodating if we needed to contact him. Only down side is maintenance is slipping. Front sliding door doesn't work properly, broken blinds and shower door down stairs. Some of the couches up stairs have been well used.

The property was not cleaned properly. There were two cane baskets that had red back spiders in them

Perfect location

This house is in a great location walking distance to so many things. We were in town for a wedding so didn’t get to spend much time at the property but we were happy & comfortable. Kitchen & bathroom are a bit older style but both were clean and tidy so no complaints here. Prompt replies from the property to any of our emails. Would happily recommend this property to any family.

Underwhelmed

If you are looking for lake views ,private boat ramp ,easy access to the lake then The Whitehouse is great . The house itself didn’t reflect the pictures online! Yes, there is plenty of room ,which is great ,however it is dated and didn’t have that squeaky clean vibe . Also found the stairs a challenge,they would be hard for elderly or disabled to navigate. And it wasn’t user friendly as in all the cutlery ,stove etc was upstairs but the main dining table was downstairs!

Great stay for family catch up

The White House provided a great stay for our family. Lots of beds and futons to use and access to water was great. Host was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Family weekend away one of many

While the property is well appointed with all you would require to enjoy your stay and plenty of room for us all and more if required. The view is amazing ,location perfect ,fenced off yard area awesome for our little ones and the boat ramp for toys there is room for improvement. Upon arrival when driving in the first thing we noticed was the lawns needed mowing . The weeds needed pulling out at the entrance to the house. The bbq was dirty with dirty utensils in it. The oven didn’t work and was dirty from the last use. We had no tv reception for 2 days until we located a cable that was almost detached when pushed back together reception resumed. As the weather was cold and very windy we spent a lot of tome indoors. So overall a little bit of TLC on a few things is required.

Great House!

The White House is a great choice for families or groups. Plenty of beds, space and seating both inside and outside upstairs and downstairs. It was exactly what our group needed, the house is furnished nicely and has great outdoor entertainment areas. Perfect spot on the water too!

Family Fun

We stayed over 3 Nights for 30 Wedding Anniversary, with all our Adult Children, plenty of bedrooms and space all were clean neat and tidy, Kitchen well equipped, Bathrooms good lots of hot water for the 10 of us, heaps of room outdoors for cars and playing games, the ramp and the jetty a must for our stay, pity the weather wasn't so kind strong winds and rough waters,We enjoyed our stay and hopefully will make an annual event, Thanks Ewan for all you assistance

Great house, great location!

We spent a lovely long weekend with 3 families in The White House on Lake Mulwala. The house was very clean and comfortable with everything on hand. Superb location right on the water and walking distance into town. We spent much of our time on the balcony enjoying meals and the beautiful views. We also loved late afternoons on the jetty dangling feet into the water. Communication with the owner was excellent and he made us feel very welcome. We hope to visit again!

Great Stay!

I booked this house for a work trip. It was a great location and the facilities were excellent. The booking process with the owner was smooth, he was informative, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend staying at this property as it is excellent value for money, extremely clean and well kept and has everything you need. Location is fabulous, right on the river and a short drive to the shops.

Fabulous

Beautiful house in a stunning location. The house had everything we needed, staying with 3 families together for a weekend. We too decided to stay a day longer once we saw such comfort and luxury. We loved watching the sunset from the upstairs balcony and everyone enjoyed jumping off the private jetty to cool off. Definitely worth staying at, be careful you might not want to leave. Thanks to the owners for making our stay such a memorable one. We will be back...
