Luxurious secluded cottage B&B amidst vineyards in the beautiful Barossa Valley.

Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawns at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort.

In the warmer months, enjoy breakfast in the secluded courtyard adjoining the cottage or a pre-dinner drink in the gazebo watching the sunset; in the cooler months, cosy up with the wood burning stove and Netflix (kindling and firewood provided).

A generous selection of home-made and locally-sourced food, drinks and nibbles is supplied with our compliments, including breakfast provisions for two days. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives can be provided.

We also offer 'enhancements' to the Halletts Valley Hideaway experience - in-room massage with an experienced, skilled therapist, chilled sparkling wine on arrival and a carefully selected list of museum wines to enjoy during your stay.

The Barossa has a wonderful variety of wineries, walks and restaurants. Ahead of their stay, guests are provided with a personal selection of food and wine things to do in the Barossa.

Little Gem in the Barossa
Beautifully appointed self catering cottage in tranquil setting amongst vines, well equipped with all the necessities and some lovely luxury touches. Hosts are very friendly, approachable and accommodating. Very close to everywhere in the Barossa! Highly recommended

Perfect secluded spot
Beautiful cottage on a larger property amongst the vineyards in the Barossa. Ten minutes to popular and boutique wineries and cellar doors, many choices of casual and fine dining, shopping and galleries. Golf courses nearby as well. Cottage has luxurious appointments - towels, bedding, kitchen, lounge - and delicious provisions for breakfast provided. Definitely a five star stay!

Great short break in the Barossa in a magnificent open plan cottage - hidden gem close to both Tanunda & Rowland Flat. The homemade pickles, jam, biscuits etc., together with complimentary Hayes Family wine, were an added reward. Hosts were very personable & helpful.

The Hideaway was a beautiful place to stay in the Barossa. It is just outside of Tanunda in a quiet location with views along the valley and lots of birdlife in the garden. Everything is clean and neat and tidy. Steve was responsive to any of our questi.

Anniversary getaway
Our stay at Halletts Hideaway was truely remarkable. The property is in a fantastic location, and is 100% a fantastic cottage to stay in. Very well presented, couldn't ask for anything more. Food and drink provisions were great, especially Jenny's homemade gifts. Would highly recommend this place and we will be back again. Thankyou Jenny

So glad we decided to stay here! Jenny was a brilliant host and made our stay so easy here. Loved all the home made goodies, the breakfast ingredients and special touches. After a long day of flight problems, it was so warm to walk into the property and see a handwritten note, local goodies and a clean, architecturally beautiful space. Jenny worked with my dietary requirements for the morning breakfast, which was so lovely. The place is surrounded by vineyards and has outdoor seating areas for eating or drinking with a view. Just a warning if you’re catching a cab or uber in, get them to drive up the driveway as it is quite long. We hope to visit again!!

Perfect Barossa Stay
The property is amazing! Great location and setting, beautifully constructed, modern fittings and all the amenities you would need and to top it all off Jenny was a wonderful host. We weren't sure what to expect as we hadn't visited the region before but on arrival at Halletts Valley Hideaway knew we'd made the right choice. The cottage was gorgeous, we laid out, spacious, impeccably clean and everything was top quality. In addition, a lovely welcome note from Jenny, a well stocked fridge and homemade goodies made us feel at home straight away. Thank you so much for providing a relaxing and most enjoyable stay. Perfect romantic hideaway!
This little hideaway was amazing! Such a great spot. Food that was supplied was beautiful and very thoughtful. Room was large and very comfortable. Amazing view from the couch. Loved seeing bunnies jumping through the yard! Would definitely stay here again!!
