Country residential accommodation set in a peaceful bush cottage garden co-located with the main residence and only a short 12-18 minute drive to Queanbeyan City & Canberra Airport. Elouera Garden Cottage is also only 25 minutes drive from Canberra's CBD and most of Canberra's regional attractions. Wineries, restaurants, galleries, Sparrow Hill mountain bike trails, Tallaganda National Park and the local village of Bungendore with its famous Woodworks Gallery are within easy reach.
For Australian Defence Force staff and visitors, the Australian Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) is located only a few km's away, and approximately a 20 minute drive via road to the main entrance or 5 minute drive to the rear HQJOC access road.
Walking distance to Tibetan Buddhist Virupa Retreat Centre.

Fresh filtered water is sourced from clean rainwater tanks while your energy needs are met by an onsite grid connected solar power/battery system, ensuring your stay is carbon wise. Inside; your accommodation is fully furnished in natural materials, such as pure wool carpet, natural paint finishes, leather furniture and quality linen.

Sustainable living at Elouera started at the design phase, with the careful selection of natural building materials during construction and renovations, to the regular use of natural and safe cleaning products for maintenance and care. At Elouera, we pride ourselves on avoiding the use of harmful synthetic chemicals, using resources wisely and minimising waste.

The grounds at Elouera are tended by traditional and contemporary organic gardening practices to enhance bio-diversity, human friendly spaces and natural micro-climates.

PARKING & EV charging
There is ample parking at the property, however the carport allocated to the cottage is only suitable for modest sized vehicles. Contemporary SUVs, utes and trucks will need to park outside, in front of the cottage. At this stage we cannot provide or allow onsite EV charging.
